We have tried this butcher shop twice and we were disappointed both times. They are not a custom butcher shop, instead they cut the meat the way they think is best and not to the desire of the custom. All of our fat was trimmed off when we requested to keep it on. We asked for round patties and they came back thin and square. Our 80/20 burger was so lean we had to add butter to the skillet. We asked for 2-2.5 lb roasts, and the largest given to us was 1.75lbs. We requested to keep the liver, heart, tongue, and soup bones; all of it was thrown away. Out of an 790 lb steer (hanging weight) we got back maybe 350. It doesn't even taste like our meat... the cut slip was "thrown away" and apparently never even looked at because we recieved NOTHING that we asked for. We will never recommend this...

Called in and ordered Ribs, hobo beans, cole slaw and fries today. Everything was fantastic. The ribs had tons of meat, meat easily came off the bone, and the perfect amount of smoked flavor. The slaw was that perfect creamy flavor and the hobo beans were so good. The fries looked fresh cut and fried. We drove our food home so the fries were a little cold, but we heated them up and they still tasted great! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for...

Such a great place! We got the family sampler, which includes ribs, pulled pork and brisket. Added coleslaw and mac n cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious and they have live music on the stage. You can bring your own chairs, as the tables fill up fast. We sat on the lawn and it was great. Being able to use credit cards and cash as well as being able to get beer and wine...
