Atlanta Has Junk! — Local services in Lilburn

We needed our old furniture removed to make room for our new furniture. Set up an appointment with someone weeks before the due date. The day before I reached out to make sure they were coming. The next day, the day of removal my husband pulled the furniture out into the yard as requested. 12:00 came and went. I reached out again at 4 and ask if they were coming, I have furniture sitting in my front yard, they replied back they just left the hospital. They could have called to let us know they couldn't pick up the furniture. I'm panicked now, while in the car I find this company, called and talked to Eric and told him of my dilemma, he apologized for the other company and told me we can help you. He told me he could have someone at my house at 9am the next day. Before 9, Lester shows up by himself and he loads up a sofa, love seat and 3 recliners and a TV. One recliner was still in the house he looks at the chair, the walls and just calmly pulls the back off and carries it up those steps. I know this is a long review but for my husband and I it's worth it. We're in our 70's and this Company put us at ease. Our yard is clean again without furniture and Eric and Lester were Great. Family-owned and run- they’re responsive, professional, neat, and personable. I had called four junk hauler companies in the Atlanta area for quotes for a hot tub removal and Eric, the owner, immediately answered with a detailed quote and considerations for the quote, such as distance from the driveway and providing additional protection for my flagstone paths. I still haven’t heard back from 2 of the other companies, and the 3rd didn’t ask any detailed questions about my backyard and hot tub setup. I had called Atlanta’s Got Junk! at 9AM and they came over at 11AM the same day. It took 3 guys 2 hours to get it out, and they left my backyard cleaner than when they had come. I had just moved into my home a month ago, and the previous owner had a lot of their garbage remaining in the yard. Eric, Chris, and Matt hauled all of that junk away in addition to the hot tub for no extra charge. I would love it to hire them again, but I have no junk remaining! First I made a BIG mistake and called Got Junk. they were rude and quoted me an astronomical amount. Needless to say i didn't go with them. It just happened my next call was to Atlantas Got Junk. Thank goodness because the voice I heard next was Maria and she was so pleasant and told me all I needed to know. She knows her business and we made an appt for today imagine I didn't have to wait a month to get the appt.Oh yes before I forget an actual live person answered the phone no recording.Imagine that concept .Matt and Chris came out this am and greeted me with smiles (can you believe that, smiles)they took care of everything after I told them what to take. I sat in my chair till it was done. The guys knew to take over and make it easy for the customer. I gave them a check. I got the same nice smiles they said thank you and if I needed them again call. That was the great experience I had with that company.....
