Country Pines — Local services in Lincoln

Like many brides/couples - I’ve had to deal with planning, replanning and cancelling my wedding due to COVID. Country Pines did not make this easy for us during this time. At the start of the pandemic, they failed to work with us and didn’t care that even though we could only have 10 people or less at our wedding due to county covid restrictions at the time - they still insisted that we pay thousands of dollars to host our event there. This venue WILL NOT work with you at all and offered us zero flexibility.

You would think as a “family owned business” - they would have more empathy for couples during this difficult time, but it was very clear to me during our process that they actually don’t care about families, they just want your money. Ultimately, we chose not to give any more money to them because of the way they’ve treated us and handled our wedding during COVID, so we cancelled all together. I’d rather give my money to a venue that actually cares about their customers and strives to make their day special. I would not recommend this venue to any friends, family or stranger...

Engaged couples - look elsewhere for your wedding venue. This venue has terrible management and even worse customer service. They tried to force my best friend to continue on with her wedding in May 2020 despite stringent state and local restrictions during the early stages of the pandemic. They were rude and short with her at every turn.

I can understand the pandemic has been hard on venues - but their attitude was poor, inflexible and not helpful in the slightest bit. They cared more about losing out on her money than for a couple struggling to plan their wedding during a pandemic that they had no idea would impact their big day when they booked the venue. When my best friend ultimately decided to cancel her wedding, they were really short with her and refused to refund any of the money they paid to the venue - which included money more than just the initial deposit. We loved this place! Elli provided an awesome experience. She responded to emails, clarified questions, and kept meetings to 20 minutes. I appreciated her tactful input.

The day of the wedding was perfect. They were set up and on time. Every detail we talked about was correct - add-on for rentals, tables, head table style and amount of chairs, cake table, order for food, amount of people helping, DJ area, billing, etc.

We had our ceremony and reception in the same spot. It was well landscaped, great picture opportunities, easy to find, and excellent flow for the space.

Their catering was excellent. Food was bountiful and their catering staff ensured tables were cleared as people finished. We’re looking forward to our tasty left overs! Many people complement how pretty it was and the loved the food!
