The employees are always so kind and work really hard to keep everyone satisfied. Regardless how busy they are, everyone is so full of energy and goes out of their way to make sure each and every costumer is satisfied. Honestly all deserve to be paid more fo their hard labor, but also for the mental health struggles that many retail workers have to go through with costumers who may not be as friendly. Each job has its own tasks that require workers to go out of their way to complete those tasks that seemed to be expected without being demanded of. These workers are on the clock all day, keeping the store so clean, organized, and putting fun patterns throughout the store. All involved from the cashiers, the costumer service help, the janitors, security, Saphora workers, etc.. The point is the store is great to go to, there's still a wide selection that other stores don't really offer. And you can't beat the costumer service here, it's just absolutely a winter wonderland every day there, the pep, joy, and vibrants smiles fill the store and your heart with so much wholesome warmth.
Note: Please anyone going to store this time of the year remember to be nice and respectful to the workers. They go out of the way working days or nights away from their family, friends, and personal life to make your wishes come true. They go out in the cold, stand for hours, and constantly keep a cheerful attitude to make your shopping experience grand. So please show them the same smile back. The clothing may cost, but kindness is free and is easier to spread than money.
Overall, I love the store but most importantly I love the people inside it, because that's what makes it the store worthy to come to. Not just the products, but the warm, loving, and peaceful environment that makes you feel so much serotonin that you can't just help but feel as if you're in a Disney movie. Love you all working so hard to keep everyone happy while shopping. You guys make the world go around in your own way, that's matters 100% and you all deserve a pat on the back for all you do for...
Read moreThis relates to an incident during my visit on July 28, 2024, and not toward associates who serve graciously and efficiently at the Kohl’s store in North Lincoln, NE.
I stood in a line of 12 customers/3 cashiers, for about 10 minutes to check out. When my turn came, my purchase (hoodie pictured for $19.99) rang up at $34.99.
I asked for a manager and walked her to the rack. Before we even got there she said, “I know what you’re referring to, but that’s how Corporate wants us to do it.”
Excuse me? I pointed to the price display and the items hanging on that rack. She said that was the price for the items ABOVE — the “Cropped” Hoodie.
I indicated the sign didn’t state “Cropped” Hoodie. She deflected, and repeated, “That’s how Corporate wants us to do the signage.” And, “There’s no room on the top rack to add a price display.”
While I was shocked by “Corporate’s” unethical guidelines, I pointed to the 4 feet of space between the top rack and the ceiling that could easily accommodate a 6-inch price frame.
By the third parroting of “Corporate’s” policy for signage, I asked her to match the price shown, and not the price she pointed to, six racks to the left.
She reluctantly agreed and sent me to Customer Service where I waited 25 further minutes to get the price adjustment, with one individual working the desk and 6–8 people in line at any given time.
The store was clearly understaffed, and I felt sorry for the associates who were working very hard that day. I am simply incredulous of the Manager’s irrational excuses, and “Corporate’s” blatant dishonesty and deceitful...
Read moreWish I could give them 10 stars. The manager and associates at this store are truly AWESOME and helped me to avoid a Christmas disaster. On black Friday I ordered multiple items online for my roommates and family members and had them shipped to the store. Because I live out of town I was planning on picking them up the following weekend after break when I returned for college. I did not know there was a time limit of only a week to when you can pick up orders before the order is cancelled, so when I received an email saying my order was cancelled I freaked out. I called the store and they told me that everything I had ordered was put back on the shelves and if I wanted to find my items in store I would have to repurchase them at their current price. I panicked and drove there to figure it out because I had received such amazing deals on everything that I would now have to be selective on which gifts I repurchased.
Not only did a helpful worker go through the already busy store and gather up everything I had ordered but also found items that could be substituted for the ones that were already gone. On top of that the manager said he would do "whatever it takes" to fix the confusion and gave me the same prices as what I had paid online. As a broke college and pre--med student who was already on the verge of tears because of an awful Organic Chemistry II test the morning of this issue, I really appreciated their help at resolving the problem...
