The slots are bright and flashy, if you can get down the isle to play one. The isles are very narrow and you will be bumping into people trying to get to a new game.
The two available ATM / ticket exchange machines are out of order so you will need to go up to the cage area if you need more money or would like to cash out and go home, and you will not be receiving any change back they only pay back the dollar bills. While I have seen photos of a small few who have won jackpots ( congratulations)I personally have not. Most of the machines are expensive to play and are hard to win. Honestly, I haven't even hit a bonus on any game that I have played and I have gone 3 different dates. Maybe I just have extremely bad luck here, but my husband and friends are just as unlucky.
Drinks- One short cranberry/vodka was 7.50 a little high priced. Non alcoholic drinks are free if you like Coke products or water. The bathrooms were clean. Maybe the others who have mentioned an issue went before cleaning crew could get in there for the moment.
No issues with staff, although I didn't really have any interaction with them.
Parking- seems to be plentiful until you realize you are going to the general parking area which is tight and not big enough, some people where parking along the side of the parking lot on the grass due to limited space. Making the driving space even more narrow.
The smoking area is NOT ventilated well at all, and it smells like a dirty ash tray. I am a smoker and I can't stand the horrible odor. If you are a smoker you won't stay long and non smokers shouldn't go in there at all. They really need some air circulation and air purifiers. With the intimate seating they should probably have air purifiers throughout. The science of scents AĀ studyĀ found that casinos with scent had a 45% greater increase in return players than casinos without scent. Casinos with pleasant smells induced a better mood in guests, making them more likely to play. So this casino should look into scent marketing strategies to improve gambling experiences.
Maybe things will improve once the actual casino is finished . Having a casino in Lincoln is nice but after zero wins, not even able to break even, limted parking, expensive alcoholic beverages, lower RTP of machines overall, and the lack of air circulation throughout, driving to Iowa for a night of gambling no longer seems...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAre you serious! This casino is one of the worst I have ever been to. Let me tell you why. Aside from the tide space they have for their patrons, the odds are the worst and no one from the officials would tell you what's the odds are, just go ahead and ask. There's no space to walk around. For some reason the chairs are close to each other and that means you will hit someone's chair while walking. Very uncomfortable and disgustingly over heated. The casino is out of no where in Lincoln, NE and the space is tide. I really don't understand why they did that since there's nothing around them. Secondly, the odds are impossible for a player. You just can't win unless you play small and with too many bets. High limit players go somewhere else. I have been to too many casinos but this one is the worst. I will definitely avoid this one for good till maybe someday. The staff are not there to help you either. At one time I asked a staff member to hold a machine for me and when I came back I found out that he had printed my money out and I had to insert the ticket back again to play at the same machine!! I feel that he reset the odds the slot machine pays while I was gone and that was not nice at all. Locals are paying their hard earned money and what for? They might as well throw their money in the toilets. Twice now the casino celebrated in the news that they profited millions within months of opening and this shows how bad the odds are against you.
Update:
Much larger space to walk around and more slots. Also introduced few table games which is good. However, the pay out is still tide playing slots, others might say different but I believe Iowa...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMade a quick visit. Everything should be prefaced with: This is temporary. Hopefully the final vision addresses some of the issues.
PARKING: 3/5: Limited and seems an odd set up. I do appreciate the one way loop, though. There were available spots but I can see it being an issue on busy days/times.
STAFF: 4/5. Greeted appropriately upon entering. ID was checked quickly. I was checked on twice during the brief time I was there. I would have appreciated the one staff person actually walking with me to the cash out machine when it was obvious I had questions about it.
GAMES: 4/5.The games were fun though I miss being able to play an actual penny on one line and not mandatory minimums that are over 65 cents or more anyway, which defeats the point of penny slots. Probably more profitable this way for the casino, but I still miss it. They seemed to have a nice selection, though, for a temporary set-up.
CLEANLINESS/SET-UP: 3/5. The aisles seemed awfully small. But I'm hopeful this is something that would be changed when it's no longer a temporary set-up. I saw several staff pushing in chairs and picking up though, so it was pretty clean. However, I wasn't there during a busy day/time.
I didn't eat any food or visit the restroom, so can't speak to those. I also never made it to the smoking section, although I'm glad it's available if people choose to use it.
Overall, I was pleased (probably helped that I left with net winnings š¤£). I can't wait to see final build. I don't gamble a lot, but I would visit again. Good addition...
