Dollar General — Local services in Lincolnton

Went in this DG to pick up a few things Tuesday afternoon 11/5/24. When we brought our items to the register the only employee thought it was more important to attend to the vendors in the store rather than customers standing at the register. A man then said in a loud voice "You need to get somebody on a register 'cause your losing customers", but obviously no one cared because nobody ever showed up to check us out, so we just left our stuff on the counter and walked out. If you have staff that doesn't care about customers or customer service or only one employee in the store, then open the self checkout back up or more customers will continue to walk out as we did. With this total lack of customer service, corporate still has no clue as to why profits are down or stores have to be closed because they are under performing. LAST TIME EVER SHOPPING AT THIS...

Friendly staff... Bring your ID for tobacco because it doesnt really matter if you look older than some mountains they will not let you buy tobacco without :) ended up taking my son for a walk and stop for ice cream on one of the hottest days. By the time we got there we were dying but the employees actually hooked us up with a bottled water. Quickest stop, friendly, and they carry most incidental stuff we seem...

The women that work here are rude as heck!!! Came by today at 145 qnd the woman with the black shirt, long brown hair refused to come check me out!! She was stocking behind me and kept ignoring me!! We locked eyes finally be abuse I kept staring at her, and she got an attitude about checking me out!!! I mean really dg do better with the people you hire!! Just freaking lazy and rude!! I will not be back...
