UCS Inc — Local services in Lincolnton

UCS was a supplier of mine for approximately 5 years, during which time they supplied me with 5 different products that I ordered many times. At first, they seemed fairly responsive. However, within about a year, their lead time continued to lengthen. It was not uncommon for my orders to take 3 or more months to be delivered, and they were NOT large orders.

It may be that my business was too small to be important. However, the worst part was the owner, Larry. He would promise delivery on a certain date, and then not deliver. When asked what was going on he would "check with the production people", and then not respond for another week or two. Then, when followed up with again....same answer. This might go on for 6 weeks. Occasionally the answer would be "in process now", or "will ship by Friday". Almost without fail, that was just a made-up stall technique, and delivery would not happen.

Many times this put my business in a precarious situation, as I relied on the product he provided. In the end, I terminated my relationship with this company, and will never, ever, ever do business with them again. They are the least trustable company I have ever dealt with, and I've had hundreds upon hundreds of suppliers in my career. Steer clear, or prepare for...

I bought custom signage a few times over the past 5 years. They never made real estate signs before, but they knew exactly what to do and did it very well. The order was easy working with Pierre from start to finish on 4 complete custom signs. I couldn't ask for better quality and the customer service...

Reasonably priced/high quality equipment, great customer service and their sales rep works well with us. Mr. Wolfe gave us a time frame and delivered, can't ask for more...and honored our pre-covid arrangement which helped us out a lot! Will always consider/utilize this company...
