I hate doing reviews, each and every person’s experience is different and I don’t like leaving negative remarks for any business in today’s times. But I feel like this is fair and honest. We had our horse here from the end of September to Jan 30th 2022. At first the atmosphere seemed pleasant and everyone seemed nice. Fast forward to about three weeks in, I felt overwhelmed, the place is very dysfunctional, what you pay for is not what you get. Our horse was stalled all day and turned into a round pen at night, never let out into a paddock. Board at 750.00 per this facility your horse is groomed, let out to graze in a paddock etc that wasn’t the case with ours. The amount of injuries that are happening with the horses out here is disturbing, and no explanations as to how it happens. I know our horse was hit with something over the face and it was brushed off as a horse bite. We noticed a broken pitch fork by his round pen and when I questioned it the pitch fork was removed. There are horses getting out of the gates running down 110 and having to be chased by workers. This is not a safe place for your horse. The owner can be very rude but yet smile right at your face. The amount of drama and bullying of customers that we have noticed is sad. Screaming during riding lessons ,kids getting hurt. Just sharing my experiences out here , I would have given zero stars if it would...
Read moreI love TRHP. I boarded two horses for over a year when my barn suddenly closed leaving me with no place to keep them. My trainer called Kim Brunson at TRHP and although their barn was full, she made room for us. Her staff were great and everyone took excellent care of my horses. Kim is kind, thoughtful, professional, wise, and always willing to help, no matter the problem. I live over a hour away so it was difficult to get there sometimes. But Kim always returned a text or phone call, no matter how busy she was, and did whatever I needed her to do at that moment. She is an absolute wealth of equine knowledge and an incredible horsewoman and trainer. I often watched her working with horses, clients and students. She honestly has the patience of Job. I quickly saw that she loves every horse she works with and only wants the best for them. Her training methods are firm but gentle, kind, patient. I would highly...
Read moreWe took a student there to a schooling show to check out the place. We reserved a trailer spot in the VIP section a month in advance only to find out we did not have the spot when we get there. After some tense talks with the management we were given the spot.
We brought a few of our young western horses for a field trip and the complaints to management began immediately.
We tried to be respectful to the others there and ask for appropriate places to ride only to be harassed by the management for being in the wrong place. Funny. I paid around 200.00 per horse to have them on the property and we had to strip our own stalls or pay extra.
If you are new to the eventing world this is not the place to get a warm welcome.
Beautiful place but will never bring our students back. Forgot to mention my trailer was keyed by someone while...
