Super C-Mart — Local services in Lindsay

Prices are outrageous, but you can always find a good sale, especially using Price Points. However, it's the only grocery store in town with fresh or frozen food, so the prices tend to be higher. Small store, nicely arranged and organized, but old building, which is musty-smelling and just generally...old. Plenty of shopping carts, even small ones for the kids. You usually do not have to wait for a cashier unless the store is packed, which is often. Cashiers are friendly, baggers also, who will take your groceries to your car for you, and also load them in the car. The Customer Service desk is quick to return things, and also cashes checks for a small fee. I believe it's $2 for every $100. I may be wrong. Overall I like the store, but don't have many options, either, grocery-store...

Dust on canned goods, jars, shelves, etc. extremely over priced, brown turkey sandwich meat and brown hamburger meat. This place is a last ditch effort for single items you might just need to grab after forgetting an ingredient. It's so sad to think for the folks who cannot go else where/out of town are...
