People now have hatchbacks cars. They should not be allowed to park up on the hills. They need to park in the valleys or the dips in each row. In doing so they block the screen We had positioned our car just right and of course two cars came so we moved our car. Then they decided to get a third car in and they were so tight with their hatchbacks. We couldn't even see the screen and we had been there first Then they refuse to shut their lights off. We had to go in and talk to the manager. We waited 20 minutes. We missed the first 15 minutes of the movie. We had lights on and we could not see the screen It was ridiculous We seen the movie, The quiet One. Not a good movie to see at the drive-in. You cannot see the papers. You cannot see what's written. It's a really hard movie to watch and it drive through Second movie was much better. They left and moved out and we moved up so we could see the whole screen. The movie was great. It was bad boys. Hilarious. Funny movie. Highly recommend it to everybody that help redeemed our night
Needs to be some new policy about hatchbacks though you can't have them up all the way
Oh and yes, the other thing that sucked was the fact that they had one person ringing up the register for popcorn and snacks. Three people getting stuff really the line was forever We skipped just because of it. Luckily we had some stuff with us
You should have had two people ringing and two people getting stuff to help. The icees are a great price. The problem is after 9:30 they have to start remaking them so it's all liquid. So you have to come back later because they were such a great hit. Two flavors both were water and syrup not frozen yet Ughhh
I am not a complainer but I'm not going to wait in line and miss a movie to get popcorn, especially after when the line is that long
Need to get...
Read moreThe Entrance and Exit, is nothing but a "Large pot hole city" experience, that needs to be seriously addressed. The gate keeper was very nice, and was very helpful in directing where we could park. However as a FIRST time customer, we had no idea where we were driving, because if you pay for screen two, there's no access to the concession stand with your car. They offer no map of grounds, which would have been nice, since we pulled in late when it was dark and couldn't see a thing. My Wife is handicapped, and we wanted to drive first to the concession stand. Starlite could make a killing selling cheap $5 dollar Red light LED flashlights at the gate. The Prices at the concession stand were very reasonable, (Considering the Democrats intentional Inflation Tax and Forced higher labor wages on everything now days) LASTLY, you need to read your CAR manual on how to turn off, or turn down the brightness level of your dashboard lights-control-backup-monitor that's installed in most vehicles today, as it really ruins your viewing experience. Overall I would have given a 4 star rating, however the very deep, large potholes, hurt my handicapped Wife's back. There's no handicap accessible latrines only porta-pottys that are very difficult to enter-exit. Screen 2, is way too far away from food stand as most drive-ins have their food stands in the central part of grounds. BRING FLASH LIGHT, the old style elevated ground moguls make it...
Read moreThe place is fantastic! I was missing the Drive-In experience since Vali Hi closed a few years ago. I don't go to the theater that often anymore, so decided that we'd make the hour+ drive for a movie we really wanted to see. Got there at around 6pm on a Friday and we were the 3rd car in line (your milage my very). You could probably get away with coming closer to 7pm, but we wanted a front row spot. For end of July, they started the movie around 9:30pm, so bring some games, a football, and some friends to pass the time before the movie starts. Prices for entry are incredibly reasonable for 1 movie, let alone a double feature! Their concessions are standard movie theater fan fair, but pretty affordable! I took an effort to take a picture of their menu since they don't post it online. I recommend picking up a pizza at Jimmy's down the road if you don't want just snacks.
With theaters being so expensive now and not being much better than watching at home, the fan fair of the Drive-in movie really makes the movies feel special again. Thank you Starlite for the wonderful experience, and I hope to be back again before...
