Absolutely gorgeous, lovely experience. If I could give this place ten stars, I would. There's an easily accessible parking, the place wasn't hard to get into, they have such a lovely ambiance, and even better reception. They have a clock in the building (as shown in one of the photos I posted) that you would assume to be fake until you go upstairs and get to see the inner mechanisms and see how it works! It's a lovely area. With what I believe to be a trail, there's a series of signs posted leading you to the entrance of the shop, and despite outside appearances, it's a lovely, large area, fitted with many clocks ranging from grandfather clocks, to wall clocks, to German clocks, to retro looking clocks. This place is absolutely lovely and has a great personality you just don't get to see often. If you're looking for clocks or just wanting to look around what's in store for Douglasville, I heavily recommend that you go visit this lovely area, as you just don't get to experience places like this very often. As soon as you walk through the threshold, you'll experience a passage into another world like never before. If i had two words to describe this place, all I would say is that it's absolutely...
Read moreI recently visited Champ's Clock Shop, and I can't say enough good things about Jeff and his team. I reached out initially to see if they could take a look at our cuckoo clock, and Jeff was upfront about their busy schedule, letting me know they couldn’t take in any new repairs until the new year. However, he graciously invited me to bring it by for a quick look.
When I arrived, Jeff took the time to examine the clock on the spot, and sure enough, his expertise did the trick! By the time I got home and set the clock back up, it was running perfectly again. Jeff even advised that if the clock kept working, there was no need to bring it back in January for a cleaning. It's rare to find such honesty and kindness in a business.
If you have a cherished clock that needs attention, Champ’s Clock Shop is the place to go. They’re knowledgeable, genuine, and truly care about helping their customers. Highly...
Read moreUnbelievable place! So many clocks! And one huge cuckoo clock you just HAVE to see! Owners are so nice and friendly. They have lots of interesting stories to share with you. Very enjoyable little place, tucked away where you'd never guess it would be. The stained glass windows and chimes from the clocks are beautiful! And, there is a must see "music box"? (not sure exactly what they call it). It plays music from a disc about the size of an LP album in what looks like an old type record player. (The disc works like a scroll in a player piano.) The case it's in is hand made, and absolutely beautiful! They also have a HUGE bell, and they'll make it "dong" for you. Really enjoyable place to visit, and you may just find that special clock you didn't even know you've been...
