This was the perfect Little Compton experience. Dan was the consummate host and guide. He paid careful attention to each of us as he selected the right bike, fit each of us to our bikes, then made sure we were confident and prepared to ride. He had bikes for all ages, from a small one for our 10 year old, to different size mountain bikes for 4 others, to a power assisted bike for my father (in his early 70’s). Dan led a wonderful tour of the area, taking us to a park in the woods established by the Wilbour family in the 1800's and out to a lovely beach at Sakonnet Point where you can see the lighthouse. He was full of knowledge about the area. And he was careful throughout to make sure everyone was safe and having a good time. We rode about 10 miles in 2 hours -- all an easy and comfortable ride because everything is so flat. We would absolutely ride with Dan again the next time we visit...

We had such a great time cycling with Dan at Little Compton Adventures last week! This was our first visit to Rhode Island and it was so special in so many ways. When our friend suggested ideas to help acquaint us with Little Compton and give us time together, we were all in for the cycling! We were provided safety helmets, water bottles, and great bikes which were adjusted when we arrived to fit us all individually. Dan gave interesting tour stops, appropriate accommodations for our various skill levels, and kind generosity of his time and knowledge. It was an excellent way to see the beauty of this area. The peaceful roads, beautiful waterfront scenes, friendly interactions, and bonding time with each other was awesome! Yes - it rained! Yes - we got wet! Yes - we laughed! Yes … we ALL had a GREAT time!

Having done bike trips along the East coast from Hilton Head to the Outer Banks, this tour of Little Compton and Tiverton, Rhode Island was truly wondrous for an authentic New England experience! It was a perfect July 4th outing for our family of 3-Dan’s service and hospitality were exceptional. The range of difficulty can be easily balanced out by the wonderful bike selection that this company offers-ebikes are a great solution for those who want to cover the distance but worry about having the physical capacity to ride it out.
