Animal Haven — Local services in Little Falls

Animal Haven has been my go to since we moved back here is 2021. We have given them an abundance of business with a substantial amountof money being spent as we are breeders of Dobermans. We have recommended them to everyone we have ever talked with in fact our family members used them for their pets. We have had several reschedules etc. Due to life and kids and some no shows. I understand time is money but, what is not so understanding is with no warning or anything we get dismissed by the business manager who I have never actually met until after our last booster appointment with our pups. I am saddened that Dr. Craft who we think was an amazing vet can do this to a long standing cyst without talking to us first. If they would have taken the time to talk to us they would have gotten a lot farther. I believe that there should be a system in place letting you know hey you know this whats going on we are going to have to discontinue services if this continues. I did try calling the business manager last week with no success left her a message. Again didn't meet her until today when I was checking out she was standing next to us I asked if there was a problem she said no, ill walk out with you to talk. And so she just basically said I will email your records and then send a copy of you for all you records in the mail as well. I said wait why are you dropping us and she said yes and good luck. After 4 years and thousands in visits this is how they treat a person? I am sorry but I will no longer be able to recommend them. I understand I have made mistakes with rescheduled appointments etc and I apologize. I just feel that their should be some kind of procedure before just getting rid of as client who brings lots of...

Their negligence lead to the death of my sister's dog. We brought Nala in Thursday, 9/19 explaining she wasn't eating and puking. They gave her fluids said she was dehydrated but x-rays showed nothing in her stomach. We brought her back in Friday cause she was worse, they took x-rays ahain and told her that they thought there was a blockage in her intestines due to seeing gas build-up but it was to close to 5pm to do a scope down her throat, cause that would take about 2 hours so they sent Nala home. Getting off at 5pm on a Friday afternoon (9/20) was more important than SAVING Nala's life.

Our girl Nala died Saturday 9/21. Our family is beyond devastated.

DO NOT BRING YOUR BELOVED PETS HERE. They are negligent in every way and will kill your pet. All while charging over $800. This is robbery.

REPSONSE TO OWNER: Please do not lie at a time like this. You guys called a place in Waite Park. & what was told to the family is that Waite Park did not have the tools necessary to run the tests needed. Animal Haven did but again was told that it was to late in the day to run the test. You killed our dog. Please stop lying.

Amazing staff! Not to mention had the best prices compared to 6-8 other vets. They are so compassionate and we’re able to get us on the schedule quickly. They walked me thru the entire procedure and broke down the cost and gave me a very accurate quote. They were honest and kept me updated thru the entire surgery. When they had questions on what I would like to do I was promptly called and it was discussed and they also let me know cost adjustments as well. They were fantastic and I met with one of the staff members when I brought my animal in to discuss the procedure one more time. Highly recommend and will be going here from now on....
