No friendly customer service, I used to go here a lot but it seems for months, maybe longer, everytime I go in there to get cigarettes, snacks, or even gas, I have a bad experience. One of the white haired ladies is who I seem to usually get stuck with. I went to get cigarettes one night and I gave her my i.d. ( had it ready) and she literally scanned it on the machine 3 different times, looked at it, looked at me, did it again, and then rang all of my other stuff up, and kept my I.d. In her hand the whole time, I wasn't sure if she was trying to not sell me the cigarettes or keep my i.d. or what she thought, but every time I have gone in to buy cigarettes it always seems to be her and it's pretty much the same routine every time. Even when I would tell her "have a nice night", or " have a good day" I don't even get a response. I've stopped going into the store, I use the ATM in a bind and that's about it and won't even be doing that anymore. I broke down the other night and went and of course the lady was on the cash register, so I had my girlfriend go in and ask for my cigarettes while I pumped and paid for gas, just to see if the lady treated her the same or what. By the time I got into the store and in line my gf was at the counter, and sure enough, when she asked for the cigarettes, the lady acted the same, asked for i.d., was rude, acted like she didn't want to sell the cigarettes, which made me feel bad for asking my gf, but I was curious, and I dont know if I was more relieved or upset that it wasn't just me the lady was rude to. That pretty much sealed the deal on me going back there, and if it hadn't, what happened to my mom there a few days later would have. My mom had got to the gas station, pulled into pump 5 while a truck was filling up at pump 6, she filled her vehicle, went in, grabbed a drink, and told the lady working that she had gas on pump 5, the lady asked which one and my mom said 5 again, my mom said when she paid she thought it seemed high, but brushed it off, when she got back into the car she looked at the gas pump and the sale price on it and realized she had been charged for pump 6, a $15 difference, so she went back in, but the lady had begun checking out the guy who owned the vehicle at pump 6, so my mom told her she charged her the wrong price and then the lady made it seem like it was my moms fault, and after getting it sorted out, she even made the comment as my mom was leaving "if people would tell you the right pump". For her to make a comment like that at a customer, let alone my mom, when she was told pump 5, multiple times, is disrespectful and rude, and...

I can’t shop there anymore. I know customer service is a tough job, but greeting a customer and thanking them for their business is not hard at all. I hate when the cashier is ringing you up and they continue to talk to the other employee and just ignore you. If it was my business they wouldn’t have a job! But my real complaint is the manager. I was charged twice by their register(a glitch). We went in three times and finally caught the manager. She told me the bank was at fault. So my wife goes to the bank and it was actually the stores. The teller calls the store and I was embarrassed to here that the manager was so rude that the teller is going to never shop at Louies(Alanson or Petoskey). So now we have to fill out a form to dispute the charges and wait a week or so to get our money. Oh yea, did I mention it’s only $15.88! Yep I’ve spent more money in gas and time then if we would have just left it alone! BYE BYE LOUIES.... WE ARE GONE...

Get your WIC machine programmed instead of hoarding formula during a nation wide shortage causing sick and starving infants! Lying to customers that its not working isn't right. I had to call the local WIC office and they informed me that no one has reported a down machine, then louies corporate said you have a new machine that just hasn't been programmed yet. Two months full of lies saying they're machine is down. All of Louie's fresh markets seem to have laziness and lying in common. I've worked at the saint helen location, their employees lie to customers about it being down when they don't feel like running the machine or haven't been trained to. Don't worry you've all...
