Sales experience and delivery scheduling during my purchasing visit went exceptionally well with no concerns.
During my (partial) delivery, the sofa arrived damaged and this item was noted by the delivery driver. The damaged sofa was left with my other items, and I was advised the sofa would be exchanged at a later date. While the drivers were on site I confirmed with my sales lady and the driver that there would be a new sofa ordered and exchanged.
A couple of weeks went by until I called to inquire about my additional items, replacement sofa, and delivery. I was told the sofa would be delivered on a Saturday. I called back two different times in the next two weeks to confirm my delivery.
On the delivering Saturday, I contacted the store midday and was informed that they do not deliver on Saturdays. Due to my schedule I didn't worry with it and had the delivery scheduled for FIRST THING the following Tuesday.
Today is Tuesday - I take off of work for the morning and contact the store at 0930 to verify my delivery. I am told my driver would contact me 30 minutes prior to delivering, but there were some Baton Rouge deliveries that needed to be performed prior to mine. UNNACEPTABLE.
Excuses were given for everything the sun (nepotism, failure of communications, etc etc) No excuse provided a rhyme or reason as to why I should be inconvenienced or suffer continuous additional losses while V Watts over promises and underperforms.
I suggest V Watts identify the root cause of it's problems and create a corrective/preventative action in order to better facilitate it's customers. V Watts will see no future business from my family. Buyers beware

   Read moreWe moved to Louisiana last year and sold all our furniture before we moved so we had to buy all new things , we had no ideal where to go so ended up at VWatts we had a really nice lady the first time and spent a lot of cash there that day we got to bring home table and chairs and a recliner they brought couch but the young kids couldn’t get it in the door anyway they scratched it up pretty good and took it back so I had to return to the store and get another couch and of course it had to be ordered and the sales lady I got that day was horribly rude anyway ordered the couch waited waited and waited some more and finally they loaned me a small couch until mine came in we paid $1700.00 for our recliner it worked 3 months called them they sent someone out he ordered a motor several months later he came to fix it and the part was wrong so here we are it’s been a month now and no motor for our chair they won’t take it back and the lady on the phone has a pretty bad tone in her voice every time I call I don’t like to talk about any business , I was a business owner once and that’s one thing I demanded that you were fair and nice to your customers . I have learned a very expensive lesson I will never buy another item from them and if anyone ask my opinion I will surely tell them our experience and they can decide what to do from there. Dresser was forgotten at the warehouse and i had to wait a few days before i even got that. For nightstands, I was told that the manufacturer takes forever and they had no idea how long it would take (mind u it was same manufacturer as the bed). I wasnt told this when I purchased the set. I continued to call every 3 to 4 weeks and was continually told “we have no idea”. They never offered to call manufacturer to find out or anything. I was never called and updated from them, it was always me calling them. So, FIVE MONTHS after my order, i called again. I was told to call back in a week if I dont hear from them and ONLY THEN would they call manufacturer. Time slipped away and I eventually got used to no nightstands and honestly forgot about them. March 29, 2018, SIX MONTHS LATER, i call and they tell me “that sale is finalized and you already have the nightstands” I said no maam, i do not. About 15 minutes later i get a call saying nightstands are in. No explanation on how long they had been there or why i didnt get a phone call. And its worth mentioning that home furniture had the exact same dresser in stock for several months before i got my nightstands for cheaper.
