If I could give zero stars I would. My experience with them is about a month long endeavor that really should've been no longer than a week or 2 but lets get into it. I broke down in Hurricane Mills TN which doesn't have a mechanic that does engine work so the next town over I go to these people. I was making an unexpected trip and needed to redo my truck loan. Getting them to take pics of the truck and a quote TOOK 3 WEEKS! Finally when I confirmed for them to start work on a project that I was quoted 490 for this is what happened.
When I walked in they told me it wasn't the coils and that it was the spark plugs and the reason it still wasn't ready is because they had to order them and get them. I asked about how long it was gonna take and they told me about the other work they had to do and didn't tell me about how long it was going to take. After leaving and spending my entire day in Lobelville when it was done I was told I owed 655.21. I then said that's not what I was quoted for. Why am I paying extra? That was when she(the owners wife) explained to me they HAD to put the coil pack on and the spark plugs for cylinder 5 and 7. So I said all I brought was 500 cash. She asked if I could do the rest on the card, and I said yes and began to pay. Then the younger of the 2 mechanics started repeating everything she said as I was paying, I did stop him and say, "I hear ya man". Then, 30 min down the road my truck stalls out in the middle of the road. I get it started limp it to somewhere I can pull over, let it rest and went back to the shop and pulled into an available spot in the bay. I went in and saw the lady was in a conversation, so I patiently waited in the office to be addressed. She then said, "Can I help you?" I replied," yeah my truck out there, I was here about an hour ago, it's popping up the same codes as when I brought it in here and now it's popping new ones that it wasn't before I brought it here." I explained which codes they were the best I could off the top of my head. She replied," Ok, first of all, we're not gonna start this!" Me:"Start what ma'am? I'm just explaining what happened to me and what i saw on my ODB reader." Her:"Well we didn't have anything to do with that. That's not anything we were working on." "I don't know ma'am I'm just explaining what I saw, I'm not lying to you I'm not trying to start anything, maybe something had to be moved or was in the way I don't know, but my truck isn't working and my ODB reader is still saying yall didn't fix it and now new stuff is wrong with it too." The younger man out of the two mechanics then began confronting me as well. "Well I don't trust them cheap ass readers no way!" Me:"alright my man hook up yours. Tell me what's going on then. I know yours is better let's go out there." He then showed me the old codes, we went out there, he hooked up his machine and it showed that cylinder 5 (and pretty sure 7 but he didn't say I was looking at the screen, [he did say 5 was misfiring though]). So I said "ok so, you see it. It says it on your screen cylinder 5 misfire just like mine did-" Your younger mechanic:"I ALREADY SAID IT WAS CYLINDER 5 MISFIRING DO YOU NEED TO CLEAN OUT YOUR EARS!!!" "WELL IF YOU FUCKING FIXED IT THEN WHY IS BOTH MY MACHINE AND YOURS SAYING ITS NOT!" He yelled back "I DONT FUCKING KNOW!!!" and slammed my hood down.
When I texted the owner what happened(because I was done being spoken over, completely disregarded, and disrespected) he told me to stop being a keyboard warrior and call him to discuss it like a man. Mind you this shop has his name on it and he was nowhere to be seen all day. DO NOT GO HERE. TOW YOUR VEHICLE THE EXTRA MILES AND GET IT FIXED. THESE PEOPLE ARE RUNNING A SCAM AND BULLYING ANYONE WHO...
Read moreCalled for emergency help at 8am when they opened, as my truck was stranded right in lobelville. The receptionist told me theyd go right over and get my vehicle as it was literally two buildings down from their shop. 3 hours later i call for an update as i havent heard anything from them. Mechanic gets on the phone telling me there no way he could get to it. Excuse me when was anyone going to call and inform the stranded driver that NO ONE was intending on helping me from their shop?! I was told this shop wasnt the best but tried anyway only to be unbelievably disappointed with horrible customer service. Thank you Troys for making my morning even more stressful when my vehicle is already putting enough...
Read moreWorst place to get service ever. Told us truck was fixed but it's still popping the same codes it was after a 600 dollar charge and now it's got a timing issue. The owners are rude, when we tried explaining that there's more issues now that they worked on it than when we brought it in we chose not to let them touch the truck. Argued with us despite their code reader showing the exact same...
