I am also known as Sarah Beth Ellis, my name hasn't been legally changed just for the record. I am married to my beautiful husband Coty Vance, we attend this college. We loved this school. We recommended it to everyone possible. It was great until it was not. The way I have been done over my academic probation and my HEAPS because of the conflict of interest due to an ex member of my first husband's family being in the control of the financial aid. I was awarded my refund for the first 2 semesters of my college career this time around. This being my 3 semester now. I did not get any refund or HEAPS after getting it 2 semesters in a row. They vowed that they took an oath and that this could not happen but I assure it I was sabotaged. I am a 4.0 GPA student. Because of my history with an ex family member I all of a sudden did not meet requirements for SAP after meeting it before in previous semesters. They told me I do not want to pursue this. To not look further into it because now they threaten that I will have to pay back moneys given previously due to their mistake of awarding me the HEAPS and my financial aid refund went down to 0 dollars this semester also. To be told that I DO NOT WANT TO PURSUE THIS AND THAT I SHOULD NOT PURSUE THIS is so disheartening. I feel very much sabotaged. Bullied. I feel like I was attacked for being a good student with checkered past. Because of things that happened in my life before that caused me to not be able to complete my schooling years ago, after being hit by a tractor and trailer and not being able to complete my schooling I decided to go back to school. This has turned into a nightmare. I done my paper work for academic probation and was awarded My HEAPS and financial aid until it was brought to the attention of my first husbands family member Mary Trent who is his first cousin and whom I had a very horrible divorce from this family. Out-casted, beat up, thrown away over the money they received from his injuries. Now when this woman got wind that I was in school and doing good, all of a sudden I am told I no longer am meeting SAP requirements after meeting it last semester with a 4.0 GPA every semester. All of a sudden a big NO! Now to be told that I will have to also pay back all money given to me in the past because they said I should have never got it to begin with!!! How does this happen? I don't understand. I feel attacked. Bullied. And beaten up all over again by this family. She is the head of the financial aid department at this campus. Please beware. In a small town where everyone knows your business, people may not like you and...

This college is horrible. You have to teach yourself everything and is very hard to get them to do anything for you. One of the employees that work there in the financial aid department sabotaged my wife from getting her financial aid because she used to be a part of that family and went through a bad divorce. We went to the director about it and was told that their employee could not have acted unethical because they take an oath. Well, excuse me doctors take an oath too and have malpractice law suites all of the time. We had proof of the unethical behavior and you wouldn't even look at it. Beware students of your financial aid and don't just assume they are honest and gave you what you were supposed to get. Look into it and find out for yourself. You just might have been shorted. And if you are not part of the clique and they don't like you they will sabotage your...

This is a wonderful local community college to go to. The teachers are wonderful and they do an excellent job. I have personally enjoyed each class and teacher while attending there. I look forward to going back.
