Struggling to find a wedding venue that felt intimate and luxurious, I spent months calling and visiting venues. I wanted something that felt like a large, loving family gathering. I didn't want your typical boring, wedding where there was awkward down times and people bot feeling connected. I found Hocking Hills Manor on Airbnb and booked it with Penny. She was amazing! I showed up on Saturday, decorated, had tue wedding Sunday and then got up and cleaned and we left! The property was tucked away down a fairytale lane with horses and cabins! Theres even a little bridge 😍 There is a luxurious kitchen and MULTIPLE spaces for people to relax and connect. Plenty of views of the rolling hills and trees. The photos on tye Airbnb app dont do it justice! There is multiple master suites and is ADA accessible. My mother who is disabled really struggles to get around and it was so awesome that she got to come and really enjoy herself. The garage we draped and decorated and used for the reception area. The bar downstairs with the pool table, bar and lounge area was clutch! Dont even get me started on the spa like pool and hot tub!! 😍😍😍 my photos didn't come out that well but this was the best day of my life and I owe it to Penny and Hocking Hills Manor. For making out wedding every once of our...
Read moreWe had a family reunion in June of 2022. It was a perfect venue for us. We had family from 3 months old to 95 years young, and everything in between. There was plenty of room, kids and teens on the fourth floor and basement arcade room; and adults on floors 2 and three. Lots of insulation. The family enjoyed fishing, my 7 year old granddaughter caught 8 sunfish in an hour! All supplies provided (used plastic worms and sweet corn). The pool was a great attraction, the hot tub as well. We fed the horses with carrots dropped off for that purpose and had a great bbq outside with a professional chef and catered dinner with the four seasons, all set up with the help of the Manor. The Hocking Manor House is set in an area close to Natural attractions, canoe river rides, and steam train ride. We had 25 people and there were plenty of bedrooms and baths for all. The house was fully equipped with all cooking implements and ice makers, and refrigerators all over the place. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you to Penny, our hostess, for working with us on all...
Read moreWe stayed at the Hocking Manor for a family reunion over Easter. This location was perfect for our family of 13 adults and 6 kids. The home itself had plenty of sleeping rooms, bathrooms, and a very well stocked kitchen. The weather was beautiful most of the weekend and we loved having all of the outdoor seating options and the fire pit. The indoor pool was a favorite amenity for the kids. There were so many things to do on site, we did not even leave the property. We took a great hike, did some catch and release fishing, rode in the paddleboat, stargazing, played in the game room, and plenty of relaxing and catching up with family. Everyone also loved feeding the many animals- horses, sheep, donkey. And they even caught (and released) some toads. Overall, this was a fantastic family gathering. Hocking Manor was a peaceful site for us to gather, cook, entertain, and enjoy our...
