Lamps Plus — Local services in Loma Linda

I would highly recommend going to the Lamps Plus warehouse store in Redlands. The staff is super friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. And you can't beat their great prices and selection. We saved hundreds of dollars and finally found exactly what we were looking for. The sales rep. Sam, was so great to work with. He was very helpful and patient. We can't say enough good things about him. From the large selection of lighting on the floor, we found the perfect lighting fixtures for our dining room and front entry. Although they had a nice selection of exterior lighting, we couldn't find exactly what we wanted on the floor as we needed seven fixtures. However, Sam sat down with us to find exactly what we had been searching for for over a year both on-line and at Home Depot, Lowes, and several other stores. Instead of telling us to search their on-line catalogue ourselves,(which has only frustrated us in the past and not led to a purchase), Sam patiently looked and found exactly what we wanted at a price we could afford. And the store manager was so helpful and a wonderful too as the store closed before we had made our final decisions. Went in today to pick out some fixtures. They had tons to choose from. I found that one chandelier that stood out to me. After deciding which coordinating fixtures to get, (at this point I've been there for over 2 hour's), my sales associate Molly was starting to prepare my order for purchase... just then a different associate was preparing my chandelier for someone else. Just as molly was getting it ready. Sales associate did nothing about it, they claimed to have spoken with management about it. I left empty handed pleading with the other associate. I WASTED my time and effort shopping there It will be my last. OVERALL POOR SERVICE. And after all that the other associate said, "Oh just come back we always get those in. Really!!!??? I stood calm and completely cool the entire time. Molly should have put a hold tag, she's said that I should have told her sooner. I DID, like 2 hours before! After shopping there severaltimesbefore, I never new until my last visit that this store actually has sales associates. I hear people say welcome but never really had an associate ask what I needed or anything like that. Until today and that was a disaster. If I had a question I had to hunt someone down. This is a slightly different review, but I had to post something about an incredible employee at the Redlands store named Sam who went out of his way to help me. I was near tears when I called Lamps Plus in Redlands to see if they did lamp repair when a worker accidently knocked a cherished table lamp off of a buffet. They do not do lamp repairs. But instead of dismissing my call and hanging up, Sam told me to hold. When he came back on the line, he gave me the names and contact information of two local places who could help. And he said he had heard great things about both of them. This happened about a week ago; one day after I got the lamp to the repair person, I had my lamp back looking fantastic. Without Sam going that extra mile, I wasn't sure what else to do. I just wanted to let others know that Lamps Plus and Sam are now in my contact list. And, I have contacts of two lamp repair places if I should ever need help like this again. Coincidently, I am in need of a new lamp in my foyer. Guess where I am going first? Lamps Plus in Redlands....
