Read moreI'll start with the good - DELI PLATES! The "meat plus two" plates that they make in the deli are fantastic! I have a great appetite (meaning, I eat too much!) and can NEVER finish a plate...and they are $4.99!! CRAZY GOOD! LOVE the meat department. I live in an area that is kind of in the middle of Honeys and Food Lion in Mt. View, and if I'm after meat - I hit the road to Honeys - every single time! Now, the not great. This store looks exactly like the Red & White I worked in at age 16 - I'm 47. It's like walking into a time warp. Does that fact deter me? Nah; not really. Love the "paper only" selection for bags. They also have a surprisingly, wide variety of wines and beers to choose from. The deli is not good quality whatsoever. I bought food from them once and I won't ever do it again. Sloppy containers, canned veggies, soggy looking or dried out rotisserie chickens are the worst and I've never seen a good looking one. Overall - it's what you'd expect for a small town...
