Black Buggy Furniture — Local services in Longview

After years of passing the Black Buggy Furniture sign on Highway 30, we finally decided to stop and see what they had to offer. We are very glad we did! On our first visit, we ordered a sofa and loveseat. The salespeople were very patient with us as we looked through ALL of the fabric swatches to choose something we liked. Same thing with the wood finishes. We are very happy with the results. It takes a little longer for the furniture to arrive than from a "big box" store and it is totally worth it. The quality and craftsmanship are superb. We're in our mid 60s and feel confident these pieces will serve us well for the rest of our lives. Also, we like knowing that we are supporting small businesses not only in Oregon but around the country. On our second visit we ordered a bed. Again, same great people helping us, same great quality furniture. Who knows what we'll buy on our third visit?! We encourage you to visit Black...

We went into the store back in February.

When told it would be 12 weeks to deliver a custom ordered kitchen table and chairs, we (unfortunately) ordered one. 12 weeks turned into 33, with excuse after excuse thrown at us over the entire course. When we finally had run out of patience, we demanded our money back, and were told "I am sorry to hear you are giving up when you have waited so long, and it is on its way." When it again didn't show up she claimed the truck broke down.

Glenda, the little old lady from Rainier, then said " it should be no problem selling that beautiful table from our store. Some customer will be glad to not have to order it." We received the table less than three weeks later. Maybe we should have run out of patience months earlier?

Plan on seeing high priced Amish furniture but you get what you pay for with Black Buggie Furniture, very high quality. We’ve bought many items from them through the years & we’ve not had any regret. It takes a while to have the pieces arrive after ordering but like any furniture company, it’s expected. There’s only thing I would suggest is when ordering furniture make sure the picture of the piece (from their order book) is exactly what you want, including stained glass panels, design, size, color & wood.
