We have used Loretto Telephone for years and years and had various different types of service. Landline, business phone and internet, and home internet, but today was the first time that I have required a password to pay my landline bill. We were out today and went by to pay our landline bill, but we didn’t have a copy of the bill with us. We’ve went in on numerous and numerous occasions to pay without our bill in hand and it’s not been a problem. I went in and Margaret was waiting on me. I told her that I needed to pay the full balance, gave mine and my husband’s name along with our phone number and address. She asked how much I wanted to pay and once again I said the full balance. She said she needed the password for me to be able to get the balance and pay the bill. I didn’t know the password, so I had to go outside and my husband Stephen had to unload his oxygen to be able to go inside. He went inside and wanted to pay the full balance and Margaret asked him for the password. He didn’t know the password either. They wouldn’t tell him the balance without the password either even though they knew who we were. Stephen said that if a stranger on the street came in to pay the bill, by all means let them. Stephen said that we were going to do reviews and Facebook posts about the fact that we couldn’t get the balance of our own account without a password and Margaret said for him not to threaten her. He said it was not a threat, but a fact so here is the first review that we will do and continue to do so. By the way, your landline can be cut off without a password. Due to Margaret’s ignorance knowing who we were and still not providing the balance of our account and not letting us pay our bill without a password, we have cut off our landline and ties with Loretto Telephone. EDIT... Figured its time to update this rating. I've had loretto telecom now for about a year I guess. I have the fiber internet at 250 MBPS. It's absolutely 100% better than anything they had before. I play online every night, kids stream Netflix and play on their phones and never have a bit of problems!! And I pay less than 100 a month. Definitely better under the new management!!

I've lived in loretto for 2 years now and still don't have any Internet because I'm not will to pay 100 plus a month for 5, higest they had last time I called, tinny little MBPS!!! I was told by Charter communications once that you need at least 1 MBPS for each hand held device that will be connected to the wifi and at least 5 MBPS for any anything that will be streaming, or if you'll be playing games online. And those were MINIMUMS. I have 4 kids that will be on it and 2 adults, so with just that there isn't enough MBPS to sustain my family. Not counting the games and streaming movies!! You should have a little more for each device if you want too minimize lag time. It should be illegal for Loretto Telecom to shut out all other Internet providers like they've done!! I'm not sure how the businesses around here make it on their slow...

Well its been Awhile since my last review and things have gotten worse. At first I thought things were looking up because they upgraded my package to 10mbps and it was good for awhile then the same old crap started up again non of my tech will pull up YouTube play videos on Facebook will hardly pull up google within a reasonable amount of time. I have checked my router multiple times it's fine I have made sure my connection if fine and still. Nothing if you are reading this then let me inform you that in most places in loretto you can now get charter spectrum this is so much better than loretto telecom so don't wast your time with this worthless crap they are trying to sell you. One other thing that is really pissing me off is the fact that the folks out at the golf course can't get charter. I mean really a nice placelike that can't get good internet you got to be joking this company is trying to screw you over DO NOT BUY THEIR SERVICES they have got to be one of the worst internet companies...
