Glen Market — Local services in Los Angeles

I have lived near this place all my life and it has always been overpriced with a limited stock of items, but at least the guys were usually friendly and the location was convenient so I would often stop on my way home. My experience today made sure I will never come back here again. I parked in the lot and was about to go into the store to grab some sodas and snacks when we noticed a for rent sign on a house across the street. My friend and I wanted to take a quick peek at the sign so we were about to run across the street when this woman Blanca came out and snapped at me saying I couldn’t park there. I explained that we just wanted to run across the street for one minute to look at the sign before coming back to buy things in the shop, and she said we still couldn’t park there. Not to mention there were zero other people in the lot, so this was not an inconvenience to her whatsoever. I went here to buy margarita mixer and pina colada mixer and they wouldn't sell it to me because I was under 21. NEITHER of these contained alcohol. It even said so on the bottle. The sales clerk called 5 of his managers and held up the whole line for awhile. after this whole debate of whether or not the MIXERS contained alcohol they decided they don't but they can't sell them to any one under 21. This place really needs to be updated. They overcharge for everything and refuse to bring the building up to community standards.

It's in Bel Air yet looks like a shack in a favela. Actually, that's an insult to favela's.

Next time the petition comes around to re-approve their license, ill actively campaign. Against it unless they update this eyesore.
