Let me start by saying I have been coming here pretty much from the time they opened. If my most recent experience would have been my first I would likely never return. I have been in positions where track operators give a little favoritism to buddies and it has become kind of expected. But this time was absolutely too much. We were considering having my daughter's birthday party here this year. After this experience that is now a giant question. I know what it feels like when my car is given the power to go...but I also know what a car on the out lap feels like..my car was never given the power that is experienced after the first or second lap as normal. However I see a kid who was hanging out with the track operators just blazing past everyone and causing accedents (out right crashes including rear ending others). My wife and daughter were also on the track (also experienced mb2 racers) my wife who had 0 accidents was having her car powered almost completely off every lap. They told her she was bumping people. She didnt even have enough power to catch upto anyone to bump them. The only reason I am giving a 3 star rating is due to the gentleman behind the counter crediting our races saying that there was something definitely not right about the way the race was showing up. The people behind the counter have always been the blessing to this organization trying to smooth over rough edges. They are amazing firefighters for the operation cooling the fires of frustrated racers..those KIDS controling the cars.. they sure do make the people behind the counter work really hard..the friend boosting at the expense of long term customers needs to come to am end. I could keep going but by now I am sure most people have stopped reading. Please do something and improve the practices that are being implemented. I really do enjoy coming here but, I am nearing the point of not being my family back and...
Read moreThis is an honest review. The place looks big on the pictures but it’s really SMALL. On a Wednesday night…. A 2 hours wait time….for me the place looks empty…. Second… expensive… 3 people $150 for 2 rides. 3rd. There is some arcade but the prices are On points but to purchase is on dollars so there is mo way to find out how a game cost…. When you buy a card, they take a $1 out of your purchase to paid to buy a card. Paying with cash or your phone is not an option. There a picture of cafeteria… there is none… all tvs are playing a Roku home with nothing playing…. No courtesy wifi for the long waits they have…. THERE IS NO SANITIZER ANYWHERE… I asked an employee since it’s a COVID-19 requirement to have sanitizer for customers/employees and said I could wash my hands in the bathroom…. The laser tag is ok…. Could be better… the floor looks dirty… 5 people at counter just looking at their phones an d 1 could clean up the floor at least… they only sell Pepsi sodas and kids chips size… get ready to be patient and long waits… bored waiting nothing to do or watch… I do t think I will come back here. The only good thing I could said employee was nice but the smell and SO MANY burned ceiling lights makes this place a no no no place to me and my family… let’s see about the kart gets fun to make something worth about this pleace…. And the smell to rubber...
Read moreRegular customer, but I have never been so disappointed with them like today. When we walked in to celebrate my son’s birthday, it was fairly empty. The person at the counter informed me that there is at least an hour to 90 minute wait. I was OK with the wait, but to keep the 7 kids entertained, I asked about the package deal which includes the VR experience and the laser tag game. The employee suggested to do the laser tag and the VR first, so we don’t need to wait. The receptionist was trying to up-sell which I realized only later. Once we did the laser tag game(finished in 12 minute), I went to check on the wait status and they inform us that we missed it. 12 minutes when the receptionist insisted that it’s at least 60-90 minutes wait. Our group was pushed to the back of the queue and we waited 3 hours to be able to ride again. The end result: A bunch of frustrated teens and a cranky birthday boy.
Please note, they have a fine print that wait times are not guaranteed; which I understand. How ever it was the receptionist trying to up-sell and not being apologetic for her actions and not being able to accommodate a few kids who went there to enjoy is unacceptable. I think I and our friends am done with MB2 raceway. Will explore netter options for...
