Redwood Store — Local services in Los Gatos

Recently moved to the area from Santa Cruz . Quaint small village feel and this store is at the center of redwood estates commerce. Realistically, the whole Bay Area is ridiculously overpriced of which those who staked a claim decades ago are reaping rewards from the techno transplants. I’d take the Anglo property rights over digital slavery but apparently the Master of the Universe has other plans for me ... my rent is super high combined with most free income poured into a divorce I don’t have much disposable income. That said, walking to a place for shopping is more than convenient. This store has good variety. Many organic and vegan options. Overpriced though (like everything in the area) and in need of upgrading the refrigeration and a remodel. With what is charged it really should be a customer mandate but the shop gets away with skimping because it is the only one...

A charming general store that is geared for local Mountain residents or the road weary traveler. Every thing you may need is here without the drive to Los Gatos or Scott's Valley. Albeit limited selections, you can find over the counter medicines, produce, dairy, premium meats and even locally themed clothing. If it wasn't for this store, I wouldn't have made it through to my bike trip to Santa Cruz! The owners are very nice and there's plenty of stock, so make sure to make the detour here to get supplies.
