Awesome facility. The staff does an amazing job at getting everyone in and parked on raceday morning. The walk from the lot to the track isn't bad, but if need be there are shuttles that will drive you right up to the gates.
Some things I highly recommend --
Arrive early (6oo-8oo am) so you can explore all the cool events for the fans. Tons of free merchandise, Q&A, raffles, autographs, being on Nascar Raceday on TV, and also to beat the traffic.
You're also allowed to bring a cooler, so long as you can fit it under the bleachers. That alone will save you $100 in overpriced food, drinks and booze.
Bring sunscreen! You're baking in the seats for close to ten hours. Keep washcloths in your cooler to cool off. Your going to be miserable otherwise.
Don't even think about trying to leave right after the event is over. You're going to sit in a line of cars and RV's for hours, wasting gas, getting into fender benders. Just wait. Have a cookout, people watch, hit up the vendors who are giving away their stock of sodas and energy drinks. Leave right around dusk. Any later and you're in the road with all the drunks.
Bring your family! This is one of the absolute friendliest places you'll go to. Mostly...
Read moreI’m new to the NASCAR scene. My husband and son are avid race car followers. Went there yesterday. It was in the high 80’s and there was a short rain delay. The pluses from my perspective included, it is not overwhelmingly crowded at the track. The bathrooms are painted blue on the top entrance and this makes them easy to locate. Plenty of them and they were clean. Few to none baby strollers thank you. Nice crowd of families and friends. The Bruins guy sang the Canadian and American National anthems. Appreciated the inclusion of our northern neighbors’ anthem. The fly over is my TOP attraction. FOR SURE. loved getting those goosebumps. I noticed there were no trash barrels in the parking lot. Very few in the track as well. The sound system is difficult to make out. Couldn’t understand anything. The shuttle bus driver where we were did not stop to let people off or pick up people who were wearing. I Heard later that people were using the shuttle as a mobile drinking ride. The teleprompter could be much bigger. This was my second race at New Hampshire speedway. Overall a good experience. Glad my husband drove both ways. Leaving is about an hour to get out of the speedway and on to...
Read moreWorst NASCAR experience of my life, my father and I travel the country to see races it’s the one thing we have in common. Compared to every other track, here the venue is small, the track food stands are absolutely trash parking is absolutely terrible. We sat in S4 waiting for traffic to move for 40 minutes I got out and walked to see what was going on, most gates were closed , the one that was open no on directing traffic. Most tracks one way in all entrances open 4 lanes, one way out all exits open 4 lanes. This lacks organization and flow. Don’t want your money, I would have rather waited a weekend and drove the 12 hours to pocono. Glad to cross it off the list as a first time here never coming back don’t care how close it is. Speedway b/s top speed 115 1.03mi track ain’t no speedway baby track truex was doing 27 second laps thumbs down to the track and venue, nascar itself was great they should not come up to nh though this place is terrible. Nashville concrete 1.25miles was better than this loophole. Don’t get the hotdogs if you go also $8 lemonade is a waste...
