For anyone taking a dui class and actually having to pay out of pocket for it because you don’t receive assistance from the state… I’d recommend going anywhere else. I’ve wasted $690 with coalfield family services to still end up paying to take the class elsewhere because coalfield requires you to pay for 6 therapy sessions if you blew over 1.5 during your dui but they’ll fail to mention that part until you pay for the therapy intake (I don’t have health insurance) they failed to refund me on the $540 it cost to take the class (after the coalfield services lady pushed me to hurry and pay for it or I might miss my chance) just to be told I have to do therapy and pay for that. so I paid $150 for the therapy intake just to be told it would cost another $800 in therapy sessions to graduate the class. I went with Pyramid counseling (they just give you an extra 6 hours of class time instead of therapy sessions) cost much much much less money in the long run if you don’t have health insurance to pay for the absurd therapy sessions. The front desk was very rude to me at coalfield services as per the owner straight denied a refund but claimed it was only because they already enrolled me at the DMV although the DMV said it wouldn’t be an issue to unenroll me. I learned my lesson with this company considering I’m out almost $700 with the company and couldn’t do what i needed to do to get my license back. They work in a very scammish way at this place!!
