A couple months ago I was wanting to include my son in the community with things he enjoys. My son is a lover or all things scary no matter what time a year it is. This year I really racked my brain on what I could do for him to make him feel incorporated in society. I thought and thought so I began to call Local Haunted Houses. I called around to many and some were willing to hear me out and some just were to “busy” to take the time of what I was asking for, which wasn’t much. I asked each place by starting off as this is probably going to be a really unusual question and request, some chuckled and some replied with silence. So the places that were willing to hear me out with the request of what I wanted to plan for my son were utmost willing and happy to accommodate for my son. The places that were willing to accommodate him and make it special for him gave me their personal numbers and told me to contact them directly when it gets closer to Halloween. So last week I contacted the owner of Fallsburg FearPlex Brian Cassidy and we made a plan for my son and his love of all things spooky. We picked a day and a time that we needed to be there. He said he would prepare all the staff and the manager that was on site that night to let them know the plan he had in store for my son. When we arrived at Fallsburg FearPlex we were greeted by the “parking guy” who wished I had caught his name. He said yes we know who you are, go ahead and follow that other guy he will guide you to park. When I got out of the car we needed to go find the manager on site. Walking up everyone was really friendly and welcoming. So asking around where can I find Ken Akers. He came right up to us with a warm welcome and was ready to give my son the night of his life. He said I don't care if anyone else is happy as long as my son was happy that this night was all about him. We got treated like royalty, felt special, felt important. So I wanted to take the time to extend our sincerest gratitude for the truly exceptional and personalized experience we received during our recent visit on Friday October 10, 2025. The way your staff, particularly Brian Cassidy, Ken Akers, “the parking guy”, Chis who gave us the tour, Bubbles, and Falicia, not only accommodated but celebrated our disabled son's unique interests was profoundly moving. We were especially touched when the night began by honoring his love for scary things, making him the center of attention and joy. The highlight was being invited behind the scenes to see how everything worked, an incredible act of kindness that was both thrilling and educational. Your team's actions went far beyond standard accommodation, creating a memorable and inclusive experience we will cherish forever." Thank you for being you! It’s about caring for and loving one another. It’s about accepting people where they are and not drawing conclusions about what they can and cannot do because, when given the opportunity, people can surprise you in a good way. When you open your heart to the endless possibilities that exist in the world and keep an open mind to things you may not fully understand, life can take you to places you can’t even imagine. That right there is showing off your God-given abilities (a.k.a. your superpowers)! Sincerely, Alicia Latour Michael Latour (the lover of all things...

A group of 12 went last night let me state expected to be scared we had went in 2021 and had a great time fallsburg was not a option for us this year when looking for a good place until we heard fallsburg changes it every year so we thought heck 2021 was good we got scared let’s give it a shot we arrived at 7:32 we had walking to our cars by 9:30 and let me just say our group ages was from 17-40s they even recommended split up and go in 2 diff groups through it so we did and let me add none of us got scared i literally did not jump or scream one time and that is very unusual because im a chicken lol And our group of teenagers even said in their group they did not get scared. So basically we all laughed through it and when you pay over $200 dollars for 8 tickets and then your friend pays over $100.00 for 4 tickets totals out to Fallsburg making over 300.00 just on our group of 12 and we did not even get scared is very very sad. Not to add we had over 1 hour drive. Do you know what a let down this was and gown disappointed I am it’s very rare that we all can get together due to life being busy and how pumped we was for last night 10/18 then that happened. So again please do not pay or waste time going unless you are just board and want to throw...
