I filled out a credit application on their website and went in the next day while my friend was getting his oil changed. His friend recommended Louisburg Ford for their car service for his Expedition and I thought I'd tag along and look at their Fusion Hybrid's that I had been wanting to buy for awhile now. The Fusion Hybrids at other dealerships were in the $25-$27K price range and I saw theirs were less than $21K online. FIRST, this is the first dealership I have been to where the prices listed online was the actual prices listed on the cars and they had several vehicles at that price not just one. I literally went into a ford dealership where they were selling a used Fusion online for $12,995 but when I got there the salesperson said it was $14,995 until I showed him online they listed it for $12,995. Needless to say I walked away from that dealership (for the record it was Rusty Eck Ford in Wichita, KS where I was visiting my parents). SECOND, there were not any pushy salesman walking around. Maybe I got lucky and I went at 3pm when it was not busy and so I got to work directly with the Finance Director Mike M or maybe they just have a better car buy atmosphere. Either way they were not push at all. THIRD, The Fusion Hybrid was part of some program where it was a loaner car for people getting their vehicles worked on or for whatever reason. The Hybrid had 2,000 miles on it which is the end of the program for the loaner vehicle and must be sold. It is still considered new and was able to give me $5,000 off the price because of a Ford rebate. FINALLY, This made my loan to value ratio so good he did not even ask for a down payment. I'll say that again, he did not even ask for a down payment and searched through all my loan offers to find me the lowest interest rate. My goal was to be less than $450 a month and I was much closer to $400 a month than I had anticipated. So to sum all of this up, they had HONEST upfront pricing, GREAT buying atmosphere, EXCELLENT rebate programs, and AWESOME customer service and financing. I will be posting this on as many platforms as I can because they were that good. Thanks...
Read moreI recently purchased a Ford Escape from Louisburg Ford after a long vehicle search. Mike McKinney and Brian Parise assisted me. Through a slightly dramatic story, I felt treated as a daughter or family member. They were honest about the condition of two cars I was interested in, listening to my concerns, answering my questions and making sure I was comfortable with purchasing the vehicle.
I was originally looking to purchase an Escape the Louisburg team was still servicing. They were upfront with me about the repairs they made and honest when those repairs were completed and the vehicle still pulled to one side. Rather than continue with my scheduled second test-drive, Mike informed me if the issue and encouraged me to look for another vehicle that would serve me better, even though he knew I may find one at another dealership.
Though I was disappointed that vehicle didn’t work out, I was incredibly grateful for the honesty. Louisburg Ford didn’t just make expected repairs on the vehicle and sell it to me when those repairs were completed, regardless of the car’s condition. A week later, Mike contacted me about another vehicle that had just been traded in and I could tell he was excited about the possibility of this vehicle fitting what I was looking for. That vehicle is now mine and I am thoroughly enjoying it!
Louisburg Ford also provided a complimentary ride when I didn’t have a ride to the dealership, and one of the associates, Bob I believe was his name, even took photos of me with my new car after purchase.
As a young, single woman walking through the car-buying process, I was very grateful for the care with which I was treated at Louisburg Ford. From the beginning, Mike informed me that Louisburg Ford takes care to sell cars in good working condition and does the right thing by their customers. I experienced that quality and customer care first-hand. I will continue to recommend...
Read moreI had been researching the Ford F150 Lightnings for a while now and Louisburg Ford always seemed to have some of the better advertised prices around. The Lightning Reddit forum also had plenty of people from across the country that had been purchasing them from Louisburg Ford and seemed very happy with their purchase. I bit the bullet and sent an online inquiry on one they had in stock. The sales manager, Bob Wright, had answered my inquiry, and I scheduled a time to come in and take a test drive which pretty much had me sold on it. Bob was very pleasant to work with and having one person handle the whole transaction from initially answering my online inquiry all the way through financing was very nice vs. being passed off to the finance department to finish the transaction and trying to be upsold additional add-ons that I'm not interested in. Apparently all their sales people handle the whole sales process from start to finish. Bob and the dealership were also very knowledgeable on EV's and the EV tax credit that they apply at the time of sale. Another Ford dealership closer to home doesn't normally apply it at the time of sale and their same truck didn't qualify when they ran it through the IRS system. They had their Ford rep looking into it, but I never got a follow up from them. The entire process with Bob from start to finish was smooth and seamless. I'll also add that Louisburg had some of the best advertised pricing for the Lightnings in the KC metro area as well and lower documentation fees than other dealers too. If anyone reading this is looking at an EV such as the Lightning that qualifies for the EV tax credit, I'd recommend taking advantage of it before the tax credit expires in September. With or without it, their sales dept. will make it a very smooth process without the pushy sales tactics of other dealerships I've been at...
