The issue was this was 12/6/23 @ 1pm Seth combs told me that he couldn't run the 21 virus panel because he said I couldn't afford it. When it's covered by insurance. He said there is no way you can cover a $1000. Just because I am a female. My kids both have virus like symptoms and he brushed me off!
1st) If you want your private information to get confused with someone else's with the same name this is the hospital to do it.
2nd ) Also at this hospital if you work there the work environment is toxic small town and gossip go hand in hand. Try to move up and they deny you.
3rd) BTW. If your a patient avoid Chad Green and Seth combs those are the two doctors who do not listen nor address your concerns, your most likely to get brushed off 100/1 times. Any other doctor at nor lea your better off seeing.
4th) Also they tell you to call for a review but they never follow up asking how the care is if you scheduled with that particular doctor again that you have the issues with.
5th) This is the thing it is a small town limited doctors who either very good or you just avoid them like the plague (i personally avoid Seth combs and Chad green).
6th) Small town hospital any review or complaint flags you in any potental visit. The staff does talk to eachother I have seen a rumor first hand a rumor spread in to the hospital within from 30 mins to an hour. If it's lunch time it only takes 10 mins. Meaning it does effect your treatment and care between doctor and patient. The patients are the ones who want the issues addressed but will most likely will go unnoticed.
7th) I asked Seth combs what was his differential diagnosis he ignored me and walked away. He did not want to have the discussion what evidence that he had that support his decision.
8th) they deleted my mychart account. I can no longer access it. Deactivating my mychart while I am in care isn't a good look
9th) wait time just anyone to answer the phone is horrible from 8 am to 7 pm it's just impossible for anyone to communicate even to schedule...
Read moreVery positive experience from start to end. So glad to have found Dr Mutikani! We have a five year old and this was our first time seeing a new doctor since his birth. The experience was five stars from the entire team! The receptionist was very warm and friendly when checking us in. She was efficient and made the process very easy. They took us back for our appointment right on time and the nurse Jaycee was also very friendly and patient through our interaction. My son was a bit stubborn and standoffish but she stayed calm and patient through our interactions. Dr. Mutikani was amazing! She was very thorough and attentive to my son throughout our time together. I was out at ease right away at how easy going she was but also very knowledgeable and engaged. We got excellent advice and look forward to seeing her for the next wellness visit. He had to have a couple of shots and the nurse who administered the shots was great! She was quick and compassionate. She made the hardest part of the visit go smoothly and like I said, quickly. Final interaction was checking out with reception and making the next appointment. This time a different receptionist who assisted us in making our next appointment. She was also very friendly and efficient.
The entire visit went so well and I am so relieved to have found Dr. Mutikani and this office. It was hard to leave our last pediatrician, but based on this first visit, I can relax and know that we’ve found a great place in the Nor-Lea Hospital District. Thank you for a...
