Kent County Youth Fair — Local services in Lowell Charter Township

We came from Chippewa county where the fair is a true community event. We were disappointed how the club items were displayed. Each event was separate. All pictures together, all food together, all sewing together. Being in Kent county we expected a huge fair. The carnival was a disappointment. Of course with michigan adventure close it is hard to compete. With 4 grandkids we couldn't afford it. Food also was pricey. We enjoyed the animals. What an amazing event! This event is the most impressive 4-H event put on in Michigan! The kids spend so much time and energy preparing for this event. It is impressive to see it all come to fruition in such a we'll put together event! Its a fun place to take your kids when the 4 H is going on lots to do that week and I believe they also have horse shows. It also has a great place for parties or wedding receptions. Affortable for parking and if you don't want to ride fair rides it's free other than parking. Uf you do they usually have days where wrist bands are cheap games fair foods that type of thing we always enjoy looking at all of the animals there's camping for the 4H part also and I believe showers to.
