I have just begun taking my 7 year old daughter to North Texas Equestrian Center for riding lessons. She has only taken two lessons, and I am completely astounded at what she has learned already! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the instructor that worked with her at her most recent lesson, Sandy. She was extremely patient, kind, and made learning fun for my child by mixing in little games. It was very obvious that Sandy is one of the best instructors out there, and I sincerely hope she will be my daughter's instructor for a long time to come. As far as the stables themselves; when I was 20 years old, I worked a very long, hot summer in a horse barn; turning the horses out, feeding them, grooming them, and of course, cleaning the stalls. Therefore, I think I am more than qualified to say that the facilities and amenities at North Texas Equestrian Center are far superior to those at most stables. The boarded horses there are treated like royalty; the staff is more than qualified to take care of every horses' need, and the animals seem relaxed and not under any stress. When I do finally purchase a horse for my daughter, I would not for a moment hesitate to board it at these facilities. I am extremely happy with my choice to work with North Texas...
Read moreThis Camp experience was when I was 10 which was 4 years ago and it was horrible the coach was awfully rude to the children and would often say âThis is the last time I'm doing camp y'all are horrible children.â To keep in mind there was a range of 5 - 10-year-olds and the coach shouldn't have been saying that honestly. Our group had counselors and they werenât very nice to prove that, one of the counselors asked me what kind of horse that was as she pointed to a horse, and was trying to teach us the different breeds of horses. I couldn't quite understand so the counselor blew off at me for not even knowing this horse breed can you believe that!! One time that week I left my phone behind when I was leaving the camp to go home. I left it at the building where you cool off and these counselors decided to take pictures on my phone while I was gone and thought it was funny to touch other people's stuff. If I hadn't come back, I wouldn't have gotten my phone back because the counselors would have been too busy goofing around with my phone to not even give a parent a heads-up that someone's phone was missing. I will not be coming back to this camp it was an awful experience and I hope those...
Read moreMy daughter takes dressage lessons with Kai Handt for past 4 months. She has learned more in 4 months than in 4 years at another dressage barn. Kai makes sure that she learns new dressage movements with confidence and at the same time she can teach Belief how to become her partner during dressage. My daughterâs horse Belief is so relaxed and love to go out for ride every time. Stall for Befief is pretty good size, there are 2 covered arenas and 2 outdoor full size dressage arenas. Even the groomers have helped my daughter when she needed help with horse. All the boarders are very friendly. Itâs a 30 minutes ride one way for us but itâs well worth it. Thank you Kai and team for your professional dressage training for my daughter and...
