Artisan Wine Gallery — Local services in Lummi Island

The Artisan Wine Gallery is one of the most charming wine tasting rooms we’ve ever visited. We were on Lummi Island for our 1-year wedding anniversary and decided to stop by, and we’re so glad we did!

The space is small and intimate, clearly a beloved local hangout spot, which made it feel cozy and authentic. The wine was delicious and thoughtfully presented with a tasting sheet that gave great info on each pour. But what really made this place shine was the people. The staff were unbelievably kind, welcoming, and fun to chat with, they made us feel right at home and truly taken care of.

Honestly, I’d come back just to talk with them and hang out with the locals. It was such a lovely, memorable experience. If you’re visiting Lummi Island, this should absolutely be a stop...

My husband and I stopped by the shop for their Saturday evening tasting while we were staying at Nettles Farm and we were blown away. The tasting list itself was exceptionally well curated with interesting wines that were all a good value for their various price points. Beautiful selection of wines, reasonably priced. Proprietor is knowledgeable and friendly. This bottle is (chefs kiss) fabulous.

Bonus - if you’re on the island, GET ON THE BREAD LIST. Janice makes beautiful breads and pastries, available for pickup at the Wine Gallery. This week, we got a beautiful sunflower loaf and Kouign Aman with cream cheese filling. What a treat.
