Went today with my wife to play 18 based on seeing the website and seeing the special. When we showed up we were asked if it was our first time here and we said yes it was. The price was 68 for 9 and a cart for both of us. When I inquired about the special, we were :20 early before it started and that was that.

Once on the course I was looking for the fairways but never found them, they are non existent. This is like somebody mowed a field into holes. Completely deceptive photography on the website. The greens were aerated and there was no notice or mention of this. I forget which greens but multiple greens had many bare patches.

The best hole for us was 7 when the sprinklers were on the green and wouldn't shut off. It was fun running onto the green and trying to putt without getting wet - no not really.

Needless to say, I wouldn't return to this "course" for a free round. Proceed...

We used to like coming here because the prices resembled the state of the course, prices are increasing now and to play 18 holes with a cart for nearly $60 is too much for the quality.

The fairways are in awful condition, the grass is not cut evenly in the main sections. There are rocks everywhere, especially notable on hole 5, making it dangerous to play some of the balls after hitting off the tee box.

The cart paths are not good, again on hole 5, can that get paved? It’s extremely dangerous.

The greens are not cut even, there are dirt patches, and bumps. You can’t hit the ball without hitting a bump on the green which is not helpful when putting. Some of the holes were also not flush with the grass so the ball wouldn’t go in.

Not worth the price, there are other courses around similarly priced with much better care and quality of the course. Such as Gardner, and...

This review is a "current conditions" review. On 8/22/22 I played golf at Settler's Crossing and the conditions of the tee boxes, rough and fairways were poor at best. Everything except the greens was ruts, burnt and dirt. Between the tee box and green was so rough that my bag was tossed almost out of the cart. The greens were in good shape. The attitude of the staff was not good. There was complete disinterest. A "yeah whatever" attitude is not going to bring me back. I also believe that the couple who rushed to get ahead of me on the first tee (and then played slowly) were employees, since I saw them behind the counter when I came in. No driving range, limited space to warm up, pro-shop was closed, poor conditions, bad attitude. There are other places to...

If you play in the afternoon or morning, expect sprinklers to be running on the greens and tee boxes (the picture is in hole six at 5:40PM). I asked why they run them while people are playing, they told me that they don’t have the staff to run them after hours and to just take one stroke for a putt. The problem is, I come to play the course and that includes putting. Last year at 10:00AM the sprinklers were running on the tee box of hole one, we couldn’t even tee off. We used to really like this course, however it had really gone down hill and I do not recommend it.
