Negley's Water and Well Drilling of Newburg — Local services in Lurgan Township

I have 2 words for the gentleman who was here ALL day with me yesterday. WOW AND AMAZING! I just closed on my house Wednesday May 6. I had no water. I thought it would be as easy as calling someone to come out and turn my water on. Not so easy. I have a well, I’ve never had a well so I had no idea what was about to take place. I called Negley’s because of their reputation and I wanted everything to go well. The gentleman from Negleys arrived around 9ish. He goes in the basement comes up and tells me the pump isn’t working, it was trying to but it wasn’t. I’m like turn the water on. He smiled and said he would do everything he could to get me water. So my pump was bad, then my tank in the basement was bad. So I guess I’m writing this review to really tell you about the gentleman who did the work. His names eludes me. I’m terrible with names!! The gentleman who did the work had amazing customer service. Everything about him was right. He was relaxed being in my home. He had a beautiful smile on his face the whole time. He explained EVERYTHING to me in DETAIL! He was VERY professional and very people oriented. I was getting a little frustrated, not at him but the house. I didn’t expect all these problems 1 day after closing. This young man made me feel comfortable in my own home. That’s important. He never acted rushed or like I was bothering him. He is welcome back in my home anytime my well needs service. You will NOT find better people or better competitive rates than Negleys. Customer service is #1 to me and that young man gained a customer for the rest...

We are very pleased with our new constant pressure well pump system installed by Negley's Water & Well Drilling. We were already satisfied Negley's customers as they installed & maintain our water softener-uv system. All the associates we've dealt with from day 1 are impressive. The customer service experts have solved my water softener issues more than once right then & there on the phone with clear & patient guidance. I've never gotten anybody on the phone who wasn't super pleasant, from customer service to finance dept to engineers to anybody who has ever answered. All of the service, sales & engineer folks that have come to our home have been very professional, polite & personable. I wish I could remember all the names but the last 2 here for install were Walker & Turner & they were no exception to the exceptional customer experience we are used to with Negley's. Oh & my water pressure is so much better now. This holiday weekend we had 6 guests & no dropped pressure with simultaneous usage. I have lived in Middle Spring Area over 50 years now. Negley put a well in for my parents back then. Unfortunately it has sulfur. Nasty smelling stuff. Several water system companies tried to help, but failed. I called Negleys alittle over a month ago, they sent me Eric Willhide (who the lady on the phone referred to as their top gun) and he changed my life! Yes we had to totally replace all the out dated “fixes” other companies put in. But I have water I can drink from tap, I can shower without gagging, My laundry is truly clean(?which I hadn’t noticed before?). All we have to do to maintain our system is salt as needed, UV bulb once a year is what’s expected and filter change as needed ( we were expecting quartly at longest) but today Eric did his check of system and feels it might very well be yearly for filter too! Sorry so long, but you need to understand just how well we have been treated, how educated Eric is on water issues, and how very happy I am after living more than 50 years with awful water!
