Dollar General — Local services in Luthersville

I used to only go to this dollar general because they always have items available and the staff and store itself was always nice, but I will never return because I don’t understand how this store is actually up and running?!? The first register is down and has been down for a year now. The past few weeks the only register is the self checkout and it doesn’t accept cash. I went in this morning and walked around getting items spending 30 minutes to get to the register and it says no cash. I thought it was running properly because they usually have a sign up front when you walk in saying no cash, but not this time and that employee let people walk around and shop and not let anyone know until they’ve wasted their time and let them know no cash once they’re done. Whoever owns this store is an incompetent person to allow their registers to be down and not get it fixed and it’s been happening for a year! FYI to the owner… other dollar stores get their registers and systems fixed promptly, what’s your excuse besides incompetent...

The employees have made me feel so unwelcomed and i Don't want to go back, my mom had to use the restroom and asked me to get the key so i went and real nice asked ummm... can i get the restroom key i was expecting the older lady to give me the key cause i had my hand out and she completely by passed me and opened the door for my mom which i didn't mind but the lights went out in the restroom and my mom couldn't see anything, my moms an older lady so i was annoyed that i couldn't go to the restroom with her cause i was still at the front desk shocked at how rude the older lady was. ( there's another older lady called lynda sorry if i spelt that wrong but shes a.Sweet heart i love her she's just so nice...

I want to recognize the ladies on the clock around 3pm on 3/24/2020. I regularly shop here at least 2 times a week and there are never more than 3 people waiting in line but today it was packed, at least 10 customers waiting to be checked out. These ladies maintained a courteous and professional customer service demeanor towards every customer. The current pandemic in America has everyone scared but these ladies were all smiles. I didnt catch her name but as I was leaving, I noticed one of the associates walking an elderly couple to their vehicle and assisted in loading their groceries. They all...
