I ATTENDED A WEDNESDAY NIGHT MEETING AND INTRODUCED MYSELF AS THE GREAT GRANDSON OF THE ONLY OWNER OF THE 1918 LOGGING TRUCK IN QUESTION. I ASKED IF I COULD RESTORE THE TRUCK AND THE COMMITEE SAID YES . SO I COMMENCED THE RESTORATION AND THREE DAYS BEFORE THE LOG SHOW I WAS ASKED TO LEAVE BEFORE I FINISHED MY RESTORATION WAS COMPLETED. Read moreIf you're in the area, this is a must see annual event. Get some food. We got a large chunk of chicken, cole slaw, beans, garlic bread, baked potato, and a fruit punch for $10. Kids version is a little smaller and is $8. Get 2 meats (choose from chicken, salmon, beef) for $15. 3 meats for $20.
I couldn't find any alcohol for sale. There's signs that say "no drugs or alcohol". So... I guess either pregame or after party if you're interested in such things.
Entry fee was $7/adult. Kids under 6 are free.
There's bidding on gravel, dirt, wood, propane, and other crazy things in large quantities so bring cash if you're interested.
Overall fun event that you can...
