I cannot say enough good things about Hillcrest. I brought my daughter Lola here about a year ago due to her having an unspecified anxiety disorder. She has been learning from Lisa, the owner, how to horseback ride and take care of the horses. She absolutely loves coming up here. This helps her get out of the house more as well.. not to mention when we leave she is more talkative and happier.
Lisa has taken so much extra time with my daughter by going over her lesson time by 10, 15 and even 20mins. We liked Lisas’ farm instantly with the horses meandering by, the cats that will follow you and are very affectionate even a pug named Berkley who sits amongst them and blends into the beautiful scenery here. The first time we went up to check out the farm and meet Lisa she talked to my daughter and showed us around and before good byes and nice to meet you’s were said she gave my daughter a hug and i knew this was a good place to be.
It is a very relaxing and peaceful environment with my daughter making new friends and now horseback riding and learning how to take care of them is her passion. Again, i cannot say enough wonderful things about Hillcrest and the kindness that was given to me and my daughter. Im so glad we found this farm.

Read moreMy wife and I have been boarders at Hill Crest Farm for eight years, and have boarded a total of three horses during that time. Currently we have two horses boarded. The cleanliness of stalls and paddocks is excellent, and care is attentive and loving. Lisa Cope and her husband Bill manage all matters of the farm and are friendly, hard-working, accommodating, reasonable, and fair in the running of the place. Lisa has had intimate horse experience since early childhood, and readily sees when a horse is "off" or ailing. Plus, she is an experienced show person who is an excellent instructor for children and adults. The overall priority at Hill Crest Farm is the welfare of the horses, and great vigilance is dedicated to assuring adequate quantity and quality of feeding as well as ample fresh and clean drinking water. Stalls and paddocks are "picked" daily. Horses are turned out daily, and summer pasture grazing is available. We were previously boarders at two other barns, which have fallen out of business. After considerable looking around, we consider ourselves fortunate to have found...
Read moreI took riding lessons as a kid and decided to get back into it in 2020. That's when I found Hill Crest Farm. Lisa, the owner, is kind and welcoming, and I did a couple months of lessons with her before switching to lessons with the barn's jumping coach, Christine, who is also fantastic. They have both helped me immensely with everything from my form to setting goals for my riding. There are both indoor and outdoor rings. Although the former isn't as large as some found at other barns, it's well lit and well maintained, and it gets the job done. The barn is one of the absolute cleanest and most organized I've ever seen, and the horses are totally pampered. Definitely a...
