The young female employee who was working was very professional, friendly and helpful. As for the store itself, well I've lived in the area for years and it's never changed. It's got way to much stuffed in a medium sized area. The lighting of the store sucks. I'm pretty sure the owner makes alot because there's always customers daily. But she's either too cheap to keep all the lights on or too cheap irreplaceable the burnt out bulbs. The isles are dark and dust is on alot of stuff that doesn't move steady. There is a good variety of must have's to get quick because you forgot it when you did your major shopping in Stayton or Salem. Prices are high, but this is a very small town and competition with the chain stores is impossible. And besides, by supporting this little grocery store I am helping insure it will be there the next time I forgot to get something essential at the last trip into Salem. When possible, I try to support what is local and let them know they are...
