Family Supermarket — Local services in Macon

Meat is very cheap & the other miscellaneous very high, there's new owners now, but before the place was very nasty , very bad offer smell , used have bad & ghetto ppl.there hanging around smoking playing loud music. And the old owners hold let other ppl. Sell bootleg CDs & other items on the property. Now the new owners I see a big difference, it smells better, more room to walk by . the floors are much better now ( the floors was very dirty & blood water was on floor from the meat) but now there's new owners No hang outs , the staff much better/ helpful & nice the old staff had a nasty attitude & sit down every time I came to shop. I see a huge difference now . But would like to see better prices I have to shop 2 stores , this place is known as the meat store . Cause the large section of meat & better prices but the other miscellaneous are very expensive. Also again I see a huge difference since the old owners left . They had an nasty attitude also. I wish they would wear uniforms instead of regular street clothes.& name tags or at least...

Very rude, I called to see if they had turkey wings.They didn’t answer as I have a out of state #. I called from a text now # lady answers,says hello n proceeds to help a customer. I call back ,because I want to know why I was hung up on..A Man gets on the phone,I couldn’t understand his broken English..No disrespect to anyone,but what I asked him for he said they only had a case,then he proceeds to tell me the individual price.. Good quality meats at affordable prices! The store isn't in the safest area so you have to be aware of your surroundings at all times. There's alot of annoying beggars and solicitors that constantly surround the store's entrance during daytime hours. The cashiers curse in front of customers and are never friendly. You usually have to speak to them first before they acknowledge you. I noticed the male baggers have a very strong smell of marijuana.
