X-Mart Adult Supercenter — Local services in Macon

I am almost embarrassed to be writing an online review for an adult store lol, but I want to share my experience because of how disappointing it was!! Hopefully the owners will read my feedback and make changes, and future potential customers will hear what I have to say before they try to come here.

So, my husband and I had a rare date night, & we decided to make it our Friday night plans to come here and have fun browsing around, hopefully finding something new to try.

We walk in the door. The man at the front desk asked to see our IDs for us to enter. We are both very visibly over 18, but I respect policy. I showed him my ID, all good. My husband had forgotten his wallet but we figured it wouldn't be a big deal bc we told the guy that we have clear photos of both the front and back of his ID on his phone. The guy says sorry, you cant enter without a physical ID.

Yall--my husband has literally used these same photos to apply for/be accepted for an apartment lease online, and to apply for a house loan online. He is visibly over 18 (late 30s, visible wrinkles and thinning hair lol). My husband is visibly older than the worker who was asking to see our IDs LOL. And when the guy looked at my ID, he didnt even scan it or anything. He just glanced at it.

So my husband has to leave the store. We decide I should just go in for a minute anyways since we had driven all the way here. I walked around the entire store and was shocked at how wildly expensive everything was. A random DVD? $50. The toys & vbes were all mostly over $50. Not to be graphic, but most of the ddos were over $50, MANY over $100!!!! All the basic, small bullet vbes were $30 at the bare minimum. Literally nothing I could afford, nothing looked special enough to spend even $30 on. So I left. We were both disappointed, our evening plans ruined lol.

It's just disappointing bc this is the kinda thing that makes people buy online, rather than support...

I eagerly drove 30 minutes out of the way to pick up items for me and my partner. We walked in and they asked for our ID’s. I lost my ID, but had a picture on my phone. I am 22 years old and covered in tattoos. My partner had his hard copy of his ID which they accepted, however they denied my entry. Not only into the shop, but into the building itself. It was 10ish pm and dark outside. I am very little. I did not feel comfortable waiting outside in this sketchy area. So I urged my partner to go in without me. He refused to leave me which was very sweet, however, what wasn’t sweet was the way they treated me. They said I could not enter because of porn playing on the TV’s, I kindly asked through my tears if they could cut the tv off. In my experience in customer service I have always tried to make the customers feel comfortable, safe, and welcome. They did none of those. They were incredibly passive aggressive. I tried to wait inside for my partner to go in, though they told me I could not wait in the building, and that my crying was annoying and disruptive to the customers inside. They had no consideration for my feelings, they were incredibly rude and did not care about how they treated me.it was a waste of 30 minutes. Just go to CVS.

To sum it up, don’t come here if you’re looking for a good customer...

With Valentine's Day AB and 3 days walked in. They have vinyl on the door that says no firearms, but without the penal code, it holds no legal water. So I walked in. And was told I had to leave so I left. My weapon is completely legal. I have a carry permit and have been carrying a firearm for at least the past 20 years. I'm not mad.I can buy what I want from other places. I was just wondering if management or The owner Has thought this through? Because if someone does walk in With a firearm With the Intent To rob you. Do you Really think they give a crap About the sign on your door? Just as a heads up, the letters have to be at least 3/4 of an inch tall saying no firearms, you must also have the penal code. They must be within plain view of the door or on the door and they must be in contrasting color. So that they are plainly visible. Had you had all of that? I would have Never walked in the door to begin. I've seen. Your siand And other than having The penal code You're good.I would have turned around and And left and never walked in the door to begin with. But that's because I am a law-abiding. Permit Carrier. But the guy who doesn't give a crap he's gonna rob you anyway, he's not gonna care about...
