Alta Florist & Greenhouse — Local services in Madison Township

I grew up down the street from Alta and used to ride my bike down to the little farmers market on sundays for delicious treats and the cutest plants I could find. I’ve moved a few states away since then and hadn’t been in so long. My father recently passed away and we decided to go with Atla to provide our flowers for the services. The gentlemen who helped us (forgive me but I forget his name) was an absolute sweetheart. He made my family and I feel comforted and helped with all the tough decisions. The arrangements were beautiful and were exactly what we had asked for. Everything was done in such a timely and courteous manner and they made sure we were put first the entire time. I greatly appreciate Alta for helping make this very hard time in my life a little easier....

Absolutely the best greenhouse and garden center I've ever been to. I've been going here for 10 years and its always the most fun experience! The staff is amazing and helpful, and their "rose guy" is incredibly knowledgable and has helped with advice and suggestions for care many times (I apologize I cannot remember his name right now, but I'll update my review next time I'm over there and remember his name.) Also Alex is very helpful and wonderful too! I've gotten WAY too many plants here haha, and they have a huge selection of pots, tools, sprays, and basically anything you'd need for your entire Outdoor garden experience. Many greenhouses and flower shops I've been to will have 1 small rack with mini shovels and gloves, but not much else. This place...

Their website does not showcase all that this place offers so stop in for a real feel of all they offer! We bought a wood fireplace kit, not knowing it needed a "Gas off period". Being too heavy to move to a porch or garage we opted for houseplants to help clean our air (but they are great for homes anyway). Christine was so knowledgeable about which types we should buy based our light, house size, care ability and she really took time to listen. I have shopped here many times and will continue to do so. Great customer service, they just need to revamp their website and I would gladly rank...
