Had a great experience until my 9 month female corgi went into heat. The business owner told me once she was finished she could come back, fast forward puppy goes to her grooming (3/28) at the end of her cycle and was scared due to the break, owner expresses she wants to bring her back to daycare to get her acclimated. Today (3/29) the owner texts and says my puppy cannot come until she is spayed even though the day before she was searching for dates to bring her back in. As a first time puppy owner I express my concern and frustration because she never communicated this, even when I told her my puppy went into heat the owner said she could come back after for daycare. When I told her how I felt she turned me away as a client and told me I should find a better fit even though we’ve had no negative exchanges up until now, my PUPPY has been there 3 times and only been groomed by this person. While I’m trying to talk to her she tells me she can’t talk anymore because she’s Easter egg hunting with her kids (during business hours), I tried to make amends and see if my puppy could just be groomed, owner claims she would feel “awkward.” It’s unprofessional and bad business to push off a paying client that has only been respectful. I took my booderdoodle to Frosty Paws for the very first time today and he got the best haircut! I really wish I found this place sooner! Mike met me outside to bring Astro in, which was a huge help because I had my 11 month old son in the truck so I didn’t have to take him outside in the cold. Mike and his wife both came outside to bring Astro back to me, which again was super nice and thoughtful as my son was asleep in his car seat! This is an awesome place ran by amazing people.
