M & M Tire and Automotive llc — Local services in Madison

So I just got off phone with M&M to apprise of my battery light coming on late last night and still on while I drive. I typically make appointments with this establishment for planned repairs and have no issues with them keeping my car a few days. I offered that this morning but the man who spoke to me was not very nice and seemed to be agitated. I asked if they no longer honor ‘walk-ins’ for emergency unplanned auto failures of which I did not receive the answer I expected. Sure they talk walk-ins for emergencies however he stated that people who have had their appts over a week, takes precedence over any and all people who have car emergencies. I know my prior experiences that my auto is typically set aside and other walk-ins get serviced regardless of my appt. I have never heard of an auto repair shop NOT taking auto emergencies without the implication of keeping said car for however long it takes between appts of other people? I have NEVER had anyone from M&M to speak to me so unprofessionally. I have been going to M&M for many years and they have done a lot of work on my car. I have never had any issues whatsoever. I’m already distressed about this battery light coming on and I did NOT need to be spoken to in such an unprofessional manner that left me with zero...

Went to M&M to get a wheel replaced. I provided the wheel and had them change the tire from the old wheel to the new wheel.

They were unable to complete the process, they had trouble removing the tire and suggested that due to the offset of the wheel they were unable to remove the tire. The wheel was a Camaro SS 1LE factory wheel. Took it to another tire shop and they had no problem removing the tire.

Unfortunately, not only were they unable to remove the tire, they also scratched the wheel in two places (luckily this wheel was going back to the manufacturer due to a defect), and additionally they jacked the car up incorrectly which caused damage to the front passenger fender.

They were gracious enough to pay for the damages after I pointed them out and got repair quotes, however they never apologized for the inconvenience and in fact they claimed over and over that it was not their fault and there is no way they could have caused the damage. Body shop confirmed that the damage was due to improper jacking of the vehicle.

Truly unfortunate, as this shop is within walking distance of my house and I would have loved to be able to have a reputable shop so close, however after my experience I cannot recommend them to perform even the most...

Exceptional Customer Service is an understatement! My wife had an event that was over an hour away and sent me a picture of her trailer tire at 1pm that had a hole in it and the rubber was cracking. I reached out to multiple tire shops and they all said they wouldn’t drive it but couldn’t do anything til the weekend. Well Not M & M Tire. I called at 1:10pm and the gentleman on the phone told me to just pull in and leave the trailer attached and they would knock it out to get her driving safe. She pulled in and my sons said they felt like they were in a NASCAR pit. Six people ran out, jacked up both sides of the trailer, removed the old tires and 10 secs later the new rubber was on! I can’t thank them enough for the peace of mind they gave our little local business! We will be back Friday for the other two tires. 11/10 recommendation!
