I purchased a sign on Feb 4th 2022. The sign arrived on Feb 12th and it was damaged from the shipping process. I sent pictures and the owner stated in an email that it was shipped wrong by his shipping person. Owner Charles won’t refund our money or make good and send a new sign. I’ve sent numerous emails with the pictures that it’s damaged. Had to file a fraud claim with Mastercard to get our money back. Nice pain for us to go through. I’ve called to try to talk with Charles but he’s blocked my phone number. Beware and don’t get scammed by this guy!! Others on here have had problems also. Look into this before buying!! Had to put up 1 star but it should be -10 stars. He’s got our money and we have a damaged sign. We purchased the sign for $229. He wants us to fold the sign in half before he’ll return our money. Mastercard informed us not to fold it that this is the way they can scam us. He’ll likely say we damaged it and no money will be returned. In Mastercards hands now. I see you replied… Mastercard is telling us not to bend the sign. I’ll leave it up to them to get...

I recently purchased rail hardware from Madison Iron and Wood and was very impressed with the quality and design of the products. The items matched their descriptions and the shipping was timely, exactly as promised by the company.

However, I encountered a small issue regarding the hardware. The screws provided with the rail were quite small and not adequate for my heavy-duty installation needs. It was a bit inconvenient to discover that larger screws required an additional fee. For future improvements, I recommend that the company provides clearer descriptions of the screw sizes included with their products or offers an option to select screw sizes at the time of purchase.

Despite this minor hiccup, I'm pleased with my purchase and the overall quality of the hardware. I would still recommend Madison Iron and Wood to others, with the suggestion to inquire about screw sizes if your project demands more...

Updated Review: I spoke with the owner of the company, back and forth a few times. He agreed to replace the post caps with new ones that have a zinc primer undercoating. He made changes to the website so that future customers do not have results like I did. I appreciate him taking the time to talk to me and that we were able to come to an agreement that was beneficial for both of us.

Do Not Make A Purchase from this company unless you are prepared for disappointment with in 6 months of your purchase. I spent over $700 in post toppers and rope hangers and everything is already rusted out. Yes I live in a costal area and was never given and advice as to coat the products and it is not stated anywhere on their website. Just be warned buying these products. Made a phone call to the company and they did not care at all. A basic we're sorry and there's nothing we can do...
