I have played hard labor numerous times over the last 15 years and until today was pretty satisfied with conditions compared to other courses of the same caliber.    Read moreState Park golf course…best of breed. Price is good, fairways in pretty good shape, esp. for January! Nice track/layout, good greens (again for time of year), and very scorable / get-able course. Not overly long, but plenty of terrain and quick greens to test your skill. I’m guessing the handicap/slope ratings place this course right around average difficulty, and accessible to all levels. Nice pro-shop w/ “Hard Labor” merchandise, good carts, all around good time. Recommend you play at least once. Maybe only one or two blind tee shots/approaches, and some good hills/mountains scenery, and even a picturesque mill pond and signature waterwheel! I’ll be back, despite a little drive out I-20...
