My granddaughters came from Tucson to Cypress to spend time just after Christmas. I planned a fishing trip at a private lake on Monday before New Year's Eve. We were on our way to the fishing hole and happened to stop in Madisonville for a burger. We started talking to a man who told us about a really cool place in Madisonville. He said they had a race track and car museum. The race track conversation caught the attention of the my two granddaughters. It was settled, we were going to the race track. We arrived at Brays Motors and were escorted by a fancy motor coach to the rear of the property and there were two Corvettes, a black and red. My granddaughters immediately saw the "need for speed". Gordon introduced himself as the professional race track driver and said he would be willing to let the girls drive and he would ride with them one at a time. I said no to them driving and asked Gordon if he would take the wheel and let them ride shotgun. They were off and both were taken for the ride of their life for 2 laps each. They both came back very excited and out of breath. The pictures we took with the Corvette, Gordon, and the girls formed fantastic memories. Gordon insisted we see the museum and we all could not believe the size of the facility and the number and mint condition of the antique vehicles on display along with wax figures. Gordon gave us a tour of the museum and shared many stories of antiques on display other than the cars. The room that really caught the attention of my granddaughters was a very large room where there were many Legos assembled to resemble townships, vehicles, people and buildings. We were told over 1 million Lego's made up the displays. I couldn't believe the displays could be built out of Legos. I can't imagine the number of man-hours it must have taken, not to mention planning and imagination. My wife's favorite display was the wax figure of Superman coming out of a telephone booth - there was even hair on the back of his hand - so life-like! At the end of our visit, Gordon walked us to our car and with a bittersweet warm handshake said "thanks for coming". The girls didn't say a word on the trip back to Cypress about the missed fishing trip. Since then I have experienced several visits with my grandchildren by zoom and always they talk about their day on the race track. I know this is a long review but it allowed me (with a tear in my eye) to recap that wonderful memory. I highly recommend this outing for a family. You will be rewarded with photos and...

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Bray's Motor Museum and Playground today, and it’s a day my family will never forget. My son, currently on leave from the Marines, and his girlfriend joined me for this incredible outing. It's rare that we get time like this together, and today was truly one for the books.
The highlight of the day was the driving experience. A huge shoutout to Gordon Taylor, the driving instructor, for his patience, expertise, and the personalized attention he gave to my kids. My son had the thrill of a lifetime experiencing both the GT500 Mustang and the Dodge Hellcat. Watching him enjoy some drifting time on the track was unforgettable. Gordon’s guidance made the experience even better, and we can’t thank him enough!
One of the most impressive parts of the experience was how affordable it was. We went in knowing which vehicle my son wanted to drive and what our budget was, and Mr. Taylor custom-tailored the entire experience to maximize the value. He even added other incredible vehicles to the list, ensuring my son got the most bang for our buck. It’s rare to find this level of care and flexibility, and it made the day even more special.
The staff at Bray's Motor Museum were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in great hands. The showroom itself is immaculate, showcasing some of the most stunning vehicles I’ve ever seen. Every car was in pristine condition, a true testament to the pride and care the team puts into this place.
And the scenic drive to Madisonville? Absolutely stunning, making the trip itself part of the adventure.
As someone who teaches auto tech and collision repair, I’m already planning to bring my students out here. The museum is packed with phenomenal rides, and I know it will inspire and educate them in ways few other places can.
Thank you, Bray's Motor Museum, for a day filled with memories we’ll cherish forever. We’ll...
Read moreI recently took my family out to Bray's to drive on their new track so we could make some great memories with my Dad since he won't be with us much longer due to brain cancer and I can't even begin to express how great the crew there was. We had discussed ahead of time how much this meant to us since we grew up building hotrods with my Dad and Bray's went so far above and beyond making sure the day was perfect from start to finish. Everyone there seemed to make it their own personal goal to make the day absolutely perfect and they not only met that goal but exceeded anything that we thought it could be. I cannot recommend Bray's enough to anyone that has an interest in cars even the slightest bit. From sitting around and just talking with everyone there, to driving the cars, to touring the museum, every single part of the day was everything I had hoped it would be and more. These guys have an amazing facility and a true passion for what they are doing and it shows. Micah was an amazing host to us and really made sure we had an amazing time, Steven and Gordon are both unbelievable drivers and just good people all around. Steven was great, his instructions on the track really help to push you to do the best you comfortably can and his praise when you did well out there felt really genuine. My entire family was very impressed with the drivers with not only their knowledge and abilities but also the rapport we built with them throughout the day. Ed was also great and I had a really good time just chatting with him about growing up around muscle cars. Literally everyone out there was absolutely fantastic. We were able to come out and make the memories we set out to and more, I seriously cannot thank Bray's and everyone there enough, you guys absolutely made our day the best it could've been. The memories we made will definitely last a lifetime and we have Bray's to...
