This place is far out but worth it. My church group went for the first time for a weekend retreat, and we stayed at Creekside. I was blown away. The cabins were cozy and welcoming. The gym was. Absolutely. AMAZING. Obstacle course, octoball, mini golf, basketball, mini climbing wall, carpet ball...all there! The gift shop was cute and the ice cream was yummy. The meals we ate were tastyy and better than expected. The pool was absolutely perfect. The waterfall into the pool was FREEZING but so much fun to jump into. The heated part of the pool was fun to splash around with friends. The slides were so much fun; I did them over and over again. The fields were perfect for night games, such as zombie tag, capture the flag, and some late night volleyball on the sand court. Like I said, BLOWN AWAY. It exceeded expectations in so many ways. This young life camp is such a great place to unplug, have fellowship, and spend some time in the Word. Thanks staff for an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI helped build this place back in the 1980s when I was with Indian spiritual teacher Rajneesh. Despite all the controversy, we had some great times, some very deep meditations and some of us left good vibes there. Unfortunately, the ugliness of politics got in the way and we had to leave the place we'd built. Interestingly enough, our philosophy was of celebration and meditation and it seems that celebration continues on the foundation that we established there. A reminder to all our Christian friends that now visit this beautiful land. Reflect on these Bible passages: Be still and know that I am God. and The Kingdom of Heaven is within.
My life was transformed by the great spiritual master then known as Rajneesh (now known as Osho). To catch some of his flavor check out his teachings on one of my favorite spiritual masters: Jesus. They are in his book called "The Mustard Seed". Blessings and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place was the literal meaning of a resort. They had good sermons. The ranch has all of this: Basketball court, 3x3 square, 2 ga ga ball courts, huge mini golf course, pool with 7 different waterslides, a ton of rooms, a lake, rock climbing, balance course, arcade, 2 coffee shops, general store, another lake, dining hall, church/event center, toddler play room, check in/check out, and a lot more. My favorite place ever. History: used to belong to a cult who tried to poison some person to get elected but then it backfired so they came to the place and built bunkers. Anyone who came in could not leave for safety reasons so they would not get exposed. The population was 7k and was classified as a city. The police came and eventually shut it down because it was not healthy for people to stay in the same...
