Just a couple of minutes from the Ohio – Pennsylvania State line, Quakertown Falls is now officially open to the public. If you read through the earlier reviews on Google Maps, you’ll see reviews indicating that the falls are on private property. As of the Fall of 2021, the city has made improvements so that the falls can be enjoyed legally by everyone. The two-tiered waterfall is quite lovely. Since the falls can be viewed right from the parking lot, they are handicapped assessable. If you are more adventurous, you can make the trek down over the hill to see a fairly up close and personal view. Caution… the trail to the creek bed is fairly steep and rocky in some spots. There is even a warning sign at the trailhead. I have attached pictures showing views from both the parking lot and from the base of the creek bed. So, whether you choose to remain in the parking lot or go over the hill to the creek bed, you can’t go wrong. Both views are beautiful.

I understand it's fairly new so it is very nice quiet place and you can hear the falls as soon as you pull in, it's just getting to actually see them is tricky. Teenagers, young adults can climb down the very steep hill/gorge but I wasn't about to climb down with my child. I hope in the future they can budget stairs for most people, including children to be able to walk down safely. I did see young adults climbing down the left path. Left from parking lot when your facing the falls, to the left of the benches is the only safest way.

There are 3 unimproved trails to go down but no official trail, so one needs to have sturdy shoes and be ready to get a bit dusty and climb down. We just walked around, tried to go down but it was too steep and we didn’t have right shoes, but still managed to get a good view from above near white fence. Its the largest waterfall in the area and still worth stopping by! Hopefully they will build few official safe trails soon
