Country Market — Local services in Maiden

Don’t eat here, the burgers are old and they put them in water and and use them what taste like at least a week old they put them in the fridge and use them all week ,,, i don’t know how they can get away with it but if you have burgers left at the end of the day they need to be thrown away like the real restaurants and hotels do you pay big bucks for food and you should get quality food and service but instead you get week old food,,, shame on you country market truck stop and all you nc diners that are so cheap to sacrifice quality for greed shame on you if you can’t afford to give quality food get out of business cause people can and do get sick after...

Always have had nice and friendly staff. I love the beef vegetable soup!!! Too many sweets around for me. They be calling my name and I can hardly contain myself. Awesome food and the cooks are pretty good!! I always stop when I get through this way......hell I went 10 miles out of the way today to get some food. Club sandwich and fries and then again with a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and their famous beef vegetable soup!! For all of my fellow truck driver and passerbyers.... please continue to support and keep places like these open for years to come. I get tired of all the generic truck stop food and options!!! Nice mom and pop truck stop. Dinner special this evening was hamburger steak with your choice of two sides, $6.99! I was given more food that I could eat in one sitting. The counter clerk forgot to put the Whoopie pie that I purchased, into the bag. When I called the store, one of the women graciously brought it out to me in my truck since I was already in my nightgown and ready for bed. The parking lot needs painted lines for the truckers, most of them couldn't park worth a hoot. We could have fit another 8 trucks in here if they would have parked correctly. Always a pleasure to stop here for dinner and my 10...
